With a slightly negative (realistic?) head on, heres how i see it -
Wigan H - WIN! 3 POINTS
Chelsea A - LOSE - 0 POINTS
Portsmouth H - WIN! 3 POINTS
Tottenham A - WIN! 3 POINTS
West Brom H - WIN! - 3 POINTS
Bolton A - DRAW. 1 POINT
Fulham H - WIN! - 3 POINTS
West Ham H - WIN! - 3 POINTS
Blackburn A - DRAW - 1 POINT
Hull H - WIN! - 3 POINTS
Total - 23 points from a possible 30 but a defeat to the chavs.
Even if thats the case we would still be there or thereabouts!
So changing the chavs result means we are in line for 26/30
aye - great start by hull and good luck to them, they dersever to stay up on their start alone, but once the buble bursts they might easily go on a run of 5 defeats.
they neef the same points from the remaining 75% of games as they got in ther first 25% to have a great chance of staying up. Think they will be allright in the end
Hull look like a solid mid table team to me. A great achievement in their first season. Of course it's the second season that sorts the men out from the boys!
Halfway through this 10 game period now and we have 4 wins & 1 loss. Pretty good going. It looks like we'll defo be in the race come Xmas this year which would be a major step forward

I laughed at 27 points when people suggested it, but we have done very well so far. I said we would have slip ups and suggested we would get about 22 points. Im hoping Spurs was the major slip up, and the Chelsea result exceeded my expectations. I still think we will fail to take maximum points at least once more so I am now going to change my prediction to 25 points out of 30, which would be fantastic stuff and would leave us:
17 games - 42 points.
That would be title winning form, although in the BBC predictor I had Chelsea still top with 44 points after 17 games

And the best thing is, we haven't even started playing anywhere near our best in the process!
I just want to come out of November unscathed. Thank God for Carling Cup games and internationals during this month, means potentially fewer league games. My hope is for 40 points before the xmas round of games to be serious contenders. Only 11 more points to get.
Chelsea v Liverpool 0-1
Hull v Chelsea
Chelsea v Sunderland
Blackburn v Chelsea
(Level on points up to here, this is what i think for below)
West Brom v Chelsea 0-3
Chelsea v Newcastle 2-0
Chelsea v Arsenal 1-1
Bolton v Chelsea 1-2
Chelsea v West Ham 2-0
not too different from ours maybe accept they have at arsenal at home which could be a bit of a tough one being a london derby.
So realisticaly, i can see only Arsenal taking points from them, but can look to possible tricky one at the Reebok, aprt form that full points. So we must be picking up wins to!!
