So ****in typical, bollocks to internationals, bollocks to em, players like Torres missing any number of games is what loses teams titles, especially teams like us, having less of the top top quality players than our rivals.

**** **** just pissed me off this...Torres, why not ****in Rooney or Berbatov, ******s all of em.

        He is out injured.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Well, everything needs to be considered, knowing our luck we'll be playing Nemeth (when he's fit again) and Ngog soon as 1st choice because of other ****in injuries.

But just not having Torres on the pitch gives our opponents such a ****in lift it's untrue...GUTTED!!

But hey, that's not to say the youngsters wouldn't do us proud, but why Torres, WHY!!!!

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres could be out for a week after limping out of Spain's 2-1 World Cup qualifying win in Belgium, according to medical experts.
Torres lasted less than 16 minutes of the game before being replaced by Cesc Fabregas.

Spanish media said it was precautionary as the Liverpool hitman had felt a tweak in the muscle in the back of his left leg.

Spain team doctor Oscar Celada said on Spanish television: "He has intense pain in the back part of the thigh.

"It is difficult to diagnose now exactly the extent, if it is a question of a strain or a small tear.

"If it is a strain then he could be out for about a week."

Liverpool face Wigan and Chelsea in the Premier League next week, as well as a Champions League trip to Torres' former club Atletico Madrid.

Sounds like its minor. We can beat Wigan without him and we can afford to drop points away in Madrid. But we need him back for Chelsea game

The problem with hamstring injuries is that you can't afford to gamble. You must wait a few days after you get fit again before you can play and train 100%.

Two weeks minimum is my guess.

Dirk up front with Robbie on Saturday. Stick Yossi on the right. (he scored again tonight)

                          Problem solved.

gutted obviously - and babel too - but it's indicative of a bit of depth when we can still have attacking strength out of keane, kuyt, riera and gerrard who realistically should have lots of goals in them. just needs rafa to play them right.
