Yeah the UEFA assessor will surely mark that linesman in particular so ****ing low that he'll never officiate at that level again!

Methinks you give Uefa too much credit. You think they could even tell that was a bad performance

Decent result. A bit worried with how tired the players are looking.

He reminds me of an improved version of Riise. Unless he shows big improvements over this season, it's Aurelio all day for me.

Well played, Rafa, too bad we couldn't hold on to the lead.
agree with all of that. keane won't try that **** again, dossena is not gonna be good enough, happy to see gerrard and alonso rested but lucas imo will be sold at the end of the season - he just hasn't got it.

this was a missed opportunity though, all said and done athletico were there for the taking.

Yes Lucas is struggling at the moment. His dead ball delivery was abysmal tonight. Not easy for him, playing as irregularly as he does, but nevertheless he's under-achieving at present.

I think that keanes aatempted flick was a DISCRACE wtf did he think he was doing? just sidefoot the ball in to the net and it should have set us up for another three points for us. wants his hole kicked for that. Another win would have brought more confidence for sunday, anyway its over now, still, He should get his hole kicked.

It was a bit worrying that geoff shreeves said he spoke to rafa at half time and he said several players were tired, Stevie looked bolloxed from the first whistle a few times he could have chased the ball down the line but he gave up , it's a bit of a worry and hopefully he will take my advice and have about 15 lager,s tonight a good curry and a tug in the morning , On a serious note tho did anyone else notice if stevie looked tired tonight ? if so how the **** can he recover for sunday , he's got same amount of recovery time has he did from the wigan game but include travelling it's looking dodgy and Rafa also took him off for this reason (tired) imo

I am for one happy with one point when looking at the development of the game. And one point is fine in the top game away in a CL group, so overall we can be happy.

However our defence looked a bit shaky in the second half, and quite out of touch.

Nowt much to discuss, we came away from a stadium we shouldn't have even been playing at,
against a very good team with a point.

                    I'm glad Torres didn't play.

                    Why the negative?

Nothing to even pick out of this and only the sad bstrds will do that.

Post-match interview with Rafa. He does not seem a happy bunny.

Like Alan Green and Lawro said, they're not sure he's Brazilian. How much did he cost? £8m? £14m on Aguero would have been worth it now

Who's this interviewing Rafa, complete cuntflap! Trying to get a reaction, telling him that Maniche's goal was actually onside, no mention of Benayoun's goal! I don't think Rafa sounds that annoyed really tbh.

I was not up for the game tonight and i'm only a supporter. It was kind of a game of inconvenience. Chelsea is massive and the CL should be a bonus this year.
AM were poor and I think our players were shocked by how easy they had it and took their foot off the gas in the second half. I bet Rafa will be letting Keane know that trying stupid flicks when an easy goal was on is not acceptable.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
