It was me and Pablo on about Barrys games for England!
Can you two not debate without jumping down eachotheres throats? I don't know who's chasing who but the constant hounding is poitless. Let's just debate and enjoy.

Leave the dogs out of it, please, mate.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Just pissing myself on loopys quote in your signature. That would be so funny if Dossena makes it here.
Yeah, I know. Loopy could yet be right and he was quite happy for me to leave it in my sig. I will take it out as soon as he asks me to, for whatever reason that is.
Looking good for him so far, but players take time to settle and should be given a chance. I've seen more than one person complain about Keane, those who were praising his signing at the start. Ridiculous. I wasn't in agrrement in the signing of him for £20m due to his age, but he's doing well enough and will get better. I mean, look at the table FFS!
Well there you go then, proves my point even further
But whilst Barry was on the left in the first game, he was in the centre for the second game. As Alonso is a central player Barrys performances in the centre are what should be considered.
In the first game he was missed.
I stand corrected said the man in the orthopedic shoes!
Xabi is still borderline a starter for Spain though, he has edged Senna out of the starting line up lately.
Fredo is very catty. So far Reggie is no improvement on Reecey which is disappointing.

So Xabi should be, he's playing very well and deserves to be in the team. As he deserves to be in the LFC team in fact.
FWIW, my opinion on Barry has not changed, I think he is a very good player and would have done a good job for us. It just so happens that a Xabi at his peak is better. I never denied that, I just thought he would have to leave England for Spain or Italy to get his form back. I was wrong.
find the quotes in full context if u like. you'll see exactly both what i said and why i said it.
This was after the City game:
Quote:
i still want rafa to be sacked. i think we won yesterday inspite of him. I do not rate him as a premier league winning manager and i feel that if he does not deliver the title after 5 years he will be sacked.
meanwhile you are the type of person that will never have a bad word said about him.
when i get it wrong i put my hands up but at least I'm a man who is capable of forming his own opinions. tell me fredo have you ever disagreed with something rafa has done?
so am I, I just could not see the sense in selling Xabi for 14mill and buying Barry for 18mill, thank **** the Yanks saw sense and stopped Rafa from ****ing things up eh!!

To be fair, Rafa said all along he would only sell Alonso at the right price, so maybe the asking price was higher than £14m.

Glad we kept him though.
ah it wasnt really the price of xabi, but more the price of Barry, just thought he was well over priced and that we would be getting in an inferior player at an inflated cost.
