I noticed more than a few times that while Chelsea had the ball Riera and Kuyt were in field and not holding their positions out wide. Didn't really give it much thought until I read this.

It was a fantastic performance, we were totally deserving of the three points today.

A perfect example of controlling a game without the ball, we really were brilliant.

That's two points more than we managed against the top three last season and we still have 4 matches to go.

I noticed in the first half against AM that our passing really is top class, the awareness of our players of each others movement is great to watch. One example today was that one touch sequence between Xabi, Stevie and Babel that completely baffled the chav defence only for Stevie to slightly overhit his final pass, superb.

We are top of the league and we deserve to be there, long may it continue.

Great win today but it will count for nothing if we don't pick up 3 points against Pompey on Wednesday. That game should be a home banker and it is a good time to play them as they have no manager!

'We didn't play as Chelsea played in other games because we didn't have space. They put eight players out defensively, and there was no space to work the ball, only to cross.
