Try hereOriginally posted by Mystery View PostI agree that it's time for Babel to start a game, and I wouldn't mind Pennant get a look in either. However, it is a massive game for us, so Rafa has got a decision to make.
Does anyone know if this game is on the telly? I'm in Norway and it's not on, so I'm hoping to stream it. Could someone please help me out?

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I would tend to play Aurelio whenever he is fit unless we have found a way of shepherding him through the season with less injuries by resting him (although they never really seemed like those sorts of injuries). I would want as many games as possible out of him, possibly bringing Dossena on a as a sub.
I can see the reasons for people wanting Babel to play but I want the strongest team possible out unless there is a reason to change tactically or for fitness. Against Pompey the key is minimising their supply to Crouch as that will effectively isolate both their forwards as Defoe isn't the hardest of workers.
I might put Gerrard and Alonso or Mascher in the middle to make us more attacking as I think they have a soft underbelly when you go at them and without Redknapp I think they will be more fragile."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

have always been a big fan of crouch i must admit.
with his aeriel prowess and heading ability we should stick pacheco on him to counter act the threat in the air
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Like we forced Chelsea to play around us, should we force Pompey to play narrow in order to get reduce the threat of Crouch?Originally posted by dww View PostI can see the reasons for people wanting Babel to play but I want the strongest team possible out unless there is a reason to change tactically or for fitness. I personally think we need to get Keane from an advanced right position working inwards as Belhadj as a tendency to wonder quite a lot. If we do choose to go for a 4-4-2 system, we would need someone in the middle to keep both Distin and Campbell distracted, the obvious choice would be Torres but I expect him to make a late cameo if needed or to be fully rested and ready for the Spurs game. I would play Kuyt up front as his runs can cause problems for the two centre halves marking the front post. Babel on the right wing for me to exploit the space left by Belhadj. As much as I have earmarked him as one to target, as Shaggy said, he can be a threat with his mazy runs.

I'd be happy to see one of the kids get a run out ... Ngog, El Zhar or Nemeth
Alternively we can just over run them in the middle of the park and stick Kuyt up front .. really depends on fitness levels
Ideally I would like to see Xabi and Masher in the middle of the park againAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015
