Travesty. We need to learn a big lesson from this. There is no game in the Premier League where trying to hold a 1-0 lead is good. When you are on top you must score the second. Have to say I thought certain players did not show up today.

      Reina - Looked shaky
Agger, Dossena - Great going forward but cannot defend. At this point we should not be starting Dossena. He is not the player we thought and Aurelio must start until we improve this position. Too many times he was out of position. Should have stopped that cross and Agger let Pav get in front of him.
Keane - making the wrong decisions, should have had a couple of shots but was at least holding up the play.
Bennyoun - I just don't understand what people see in him. He takes too long on the ball and constantly loses it. I have my head in my hands whenever he gets a game now. His return is poor.
Babel - Very disappointing replacement for Keane. He simply was invisible. Needs to establish himself soon. How long are we to wait for potential.
Gerrard - wasteful today. One of his poorer games.
Riera - Disappeared for a large section of this game. Made some poor decisions in the first half and was invisible in the second.
Kuyt and Arbeloa are the only ones who came out with any credit today.

Gutted as that was definitely 3 points dropped and its worrying that we always have this great start then fold in November. We need to go on a run for these winnable games. Sorry Rafa, but Harry outfoxed you today.

Well, this will now be the test of our credentials. We have what looks like an easy-ish run of games ahead, Torres coming back, and whatever anyone says, Spurs weren't in the game during the first half and we started the second brilliantly, carving out a lot of chances which barring a few millimeters and a freak og would have brought us a comfortable victory. We will win a hell of a lot more games than we lose if we play like that again in the next few weeks, If we are capable of winning the league we have to be capable of coming back from that sort of an outright robbery.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
        Mine angry and defrauded young?

I think Yossi offers the squad something but only as one os the 3 in a 4-2-3-1 and only when he starts I just think he is ineffective in a 4 and when he plays as a sub.

The response now is crucial to be honest. This will determine whether it's gonna be a same old season or something different.

If they actually scored their first goal and played well then this would be easier to take, but a stupid avoidable OG. We we class up to that. The Keane sub was a bad move and at that stage we did not need to change it. **** happens

west brom is a huge game. come on we've just lost against a ****e spurs team regardless of harry. we need to bounce back with a win. torres should start and keane should be left behind on the training pitch with that turd of a defender dossena

In a twisted way, I'm glad we lost instead of just drawn. It gives us the kick up our arse we need and we're not leading any more which was putting us under unnecessary pressure. The difference is just one point, so 1 point dropped. I hate White Hart Lane and always have. At least we have some home games and Torres to come.
                        One tit for another.

Come on guys, every team is going to have a **** defeat at some point. Arsenal just had theirs and Man U almost drew with Hull.

Chelsea look great at the moment but they haven't really had a decent test yet (except against us )

but they didn't. and i don't really think arsenal will challenge.

thought this was on the cards. we simply fail to create any real chances rather than rely on the mistakes of others. sooner or later the other team was bound to get the luck.
What a ridiculous comment, when Keane went off the game changed in their favour.
