WHY? It's a great ground. One of the few real football stadiums left. Not a fkin corperate bowl.

When he went off, our game turned to custard.

Was he substituted or 'sent off', because I saw nothing of Babel from the 67 minute. I admit I'm only watching what Sky cameras show, but where was he?

Hopefully nothing more than a wakeup call, and it might get us back out of the favourite's position.

Does anyone this N'Gog now deserves a chance? I think he derserves to be at least on the bench as an option. the performances of Keane, Babel and Bennyoun have not been good enough to be honest.

****ing gutted today, played really well for 70 mins, should have had a 3 goal lead at least, very unlucky.

Torres back next weekend, we should bounce right back and go on a new run.

The usual suspect are on here I see spouting the usual ****e. Freak result. Dominated for 70 odd minutes. Crossbar ,post , poor finishing and goalkeeper all prevented us from being streets ahead. When Carra got the OG I knew an upset was on the cards. We looked tired in fairness towards the end. Every team loses a game and considering it's our 1st of the season and it's november I aint overly concerned. The key is keeping the heads up and winning our game midweek and next weekend. Nothing has changed. We are still looking strong. A bad day at the office nothing more. **** it.

To be fair he didn't perform when given a chance. To easily bullied of the ball.

Today Babel would have been great, but the Spurs equaliser nullified his potential threat.

Spot on there mate. There are quite a few negative "fans" on here!

As I said earlier, I think this could release some of the pressure and expectation thats been building up. Its ok to have that stuff in March when the end is in sight, but to be talking about the title on the 1st of November is stupid.

There were far more positives than negatives to take from this game.

                    Reina - Looked shaky
Agger, Dossena - Great going forward but cannot defend. At this point we should not be starting Dossena. He is not the player we thought and Aurelio must start until we improve this position. Too many times he was out of position. Should have stopped that cross and Agger let Pav get in front of him.
Keane - making the wrong decisions, should have had a couple of shots but was at least holding up the play.
Bennyoun - I just don't understand what people see in him. He takes too long on the ball and constantly loses it. I have my head in my hands whenever he gets a game now. His return is poor.
Babel - Very disappointing replacement for Keane. He simply was invisible. Needs to establish himself soon. How long are we to wait for potential.
Gerrard - wasteful today. One of his poorer games.
Riera - Disappeared for a large section of this game. Made some poor decisions in the first half and was invisible in the second.
Kuyt and Arbeloa are the only ones who came out with any credit today.

Gutted as that was definitely 3 points dropped and its worrying that we always have this great start then fold in November. We need to go on a run for these winnable games. Sorry Rafa, but Harry outfoxed you today.
Agree with some of that mate, but you need to look at the opposition and where their strengths are.

The were abysmal down their left, which is why Arbeloa and Kuyt had so much joy.
Mascher was very quiet today against a lightweight midfield and Xabi had one of his poorer games.
I actually think Gerrard had a good game but wasn't given the support he needed.
Robbie was poor really, but I just know he'll come good.
Yossi has had a terrible run of 3 games, but he's actually very effective when he's on form.
Riera was quiet but I think we can forgive him a quiet game after the impact he's made.
Babel - you're spot on. I hardly heard him mentioned or caught a glimpse of him after he came on. He needs to step up. Start playing some full games and ragging the arse out of some defenders or I think he may be shipped out.
Dossena was quite steady today, we all know he's not the best defender, but he really gives us something going forward. Once him and Riera click they're gonna be beasts.
Agger and Carra were good today. They were unlucky, nothing else to it.

Like **** was Rafa outfoxed though. Spurs are ****e. ****e of the highest order. Personally, I'm inconsolable at the moment, but I'm always the same when we lose. Later, with a bit of perspective and after i've got those Setanta ****s revelling in our failure out of my brain, reality will hit home.
The reality is that we're a ****ing good team this season. We're missing the best striker in the world and the goals he brings. We're missing the space he creates. We're missing defenders sitting really ****ing deep because they're so scared of him. We're missing him like mad.
The scum miss the stepover kid when he's out. They invariably look weaker without him. It's the same.
Chelski miss Carvalho, although you'd never guess it from today. They miss Drogba too. It's the same.

I still reckon it's gonna be our year.

                    YNWA the Reds.

                    It could be worse.

                    We could be gooners.

                    That's the one...

Hmmm when everyone on here was calling me a cynical **** for being pissed off about drawing away at Atletico in that fashion... This game was 100% the reason why. I could see this **** coming. We didn't take our chances and ended up dropping points in a piss easy situation. Here today we ended up losing. Pathetic, Spurs are ****e. I'm so disappointed by this, the worst of it all is I could see this result coming especially after the performances against Portsmouth and Atleti. Chelsea aside.

I know it's easy to say that we don't have Torres and with a natural goalscorer with him in the 11 we'd clinch these but there's still no excuse for missing the kind of blatant chances we have in these 2 games. Every player is a professional and should be churning out wins on games like today especially after starts like we've had today.

I guess this is a bit of payback from the start of the season when we were playing ****e and still winning.

Oh and about Dossena, none of the goals were really his fault, arguably the second one he could have done better. I'm really not a fan of this guy, his quality on the ball doesn't look very good, I think he's probably made like 3 good crosses all season after like 10000 attempts a game, doesn't look a particularly good defender and so on. Seems like he's a slightly better version of Riise, what a waste of 8m or whatever we paid, surely there were better options available. He bursts forward and I think he's going to do something positive but when he gets in possession he practically takes a first time left footed cross which is a hopeful ball, or an attempted long ball both of which are usually intercepted much to my annoyance. If he doesn't improve drastically soon I hope he is only used to relieve Aurelio then disappears at the end of the season.

Just speaking of the devil, Riise just ****ed up badly to let Juve score. Made me smile for the first time since the Spurs game. Thank god we're not sporting that ****e anymore.

We didn't just try to hold on to the lead though, we outplayed a poor spurs side and created several very good chances.

                              Agger cannot defend?

I think Gerrard had a good game, desperately unlucky not to score twice.
