IMO Aurelio is a big improvement on Riise's last season with us. .

Riise had a shoot on site policy that thankfully Fab doesn't. Fab attempts to get the ball into the box for the real goal scorers to do their job.

Riise didn't score too many goals from FK's, if indeed any, in his last season so we've neither lost or gained anything there.

Whilest I agree that Fab isn't the world beater that we may crave , he's certainly no numpty either.

The last was a broken rib and punctured lung from a collision with some big unit of an attacker. Definitely wasn't a re-occurrence of something prior. There was an interview on the offal where he mentioned that the injury he had at Basel(?) and then the ones here, were the only ones he's ever had, so hopefully he's not as injury prone as he appears.

I would not class aurelio as a world class player but I would label him a very good player.The only problem I have with him is that he cant be relied on through the season due to his injuries, anyone who labels him **** based on his football ability doesnt know about football imo.

He is good deinsively, good technique, good on the ball and good at getting forward.I like pass and move football and aurelio is one of our best players for keeping possesion and can also put in i a good cross.

I am happy with fabio at lb and think our rb and rm spots need to be looked at before we replace aurelio although I feel dossena is not up to it.
