Both, essentially. Initially Arbeloa, then Aurelio.Originally posted by Scratch View PostAre you talking about Aurelio (our left back) or Arbeloa (our right back) here??.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Yeah, but Alves' crosses find his man everytime.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI was watching Barcalona last night and when Alves slid a perfect pass for Eto'o to score the second I thought how it shows the difference between our £2m right back and Barca's £20m one (or whatever he cost).
Then I realized it was pretty much exactly the same as the pass from Aurelio to Keane for our second.
Sometimes at least he's capable of rising well above ordinary. The Crushing Machine MKII

Bow deeply to the man himself. He's the one who said he had no agreements with any other clubs before he signed for us and I think he is a higher authority than Bascombe, in fairness. I'm sure he would know if he had put pen to paper for another club, wouldn't he?Originally posted by Danish_Pastry View PostSorry, sir, I only cite from "By Chris Bascombe".... - and what other LFC forums concluded on that basis through 2006.
But of course - you are a higher authority, so I'll bow deeply!

Aurelio was as accurate as any full back I’ve seen in a while against West Brom. Before he set up Keane’s second, he played that exact same ball perfectly numerous times for Keane to run on to, as well as delivering in a few other decent balls. His first 60 minutes against Chelsea (I think) he was nearly as good although this mainly went unnoticed because he didn’t have such a direct influence on any goals.
He clearly benefits from having clever movement up front from Keane and Nando, and if kept relatively fit, his delivery down the line for these two could be as useful an asset as Evra or Cole’s surging runs.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
