That's spot on. To be honest, it wasn't as bad as the one against the scum IMO. But the goal itself was majestic in every way. It was no fluke at all.

AM's goal in the first game was another case of a runner coming from deep and not being tracked. That's a great spot.

2) If u play the same ball 2 him & ask him 2 replicate that control in the same way I doubt he could do it, ie, his control was a fluke. The ball just fell into his path as he ran through & his stride amazingly helped him control the ball 2 perfection...

Thought it was a really well worked goal, the way Atletico were zipping the ball about with one touch passing in that period was the difference between us and them.

In many ways English teams lack the pass and move qualities more than their continental counterparts and this can be a reflection of coaching & the way the game is played in each country.

I thought it was a very good goal.

I thought there were many at fault. Mascherano as highlighted. Riera for not looking what was behind him and wasn't really committed to either pressing or shifting the right winger (Lopez?) down the channel. Also Aurelio didn't bother covering any sort of spaces which might have been left by either Carragher or Agger.
