I'm not sure I want him to start to be honest. If he felt dodgy midweek then it will probably be still less than perfect at the weekend. I'd rather he was fully fit for a stretch of games rather than risk him for a game against West Brom. On the other hand I have to say we badly need to win this game to regain momentum and it is all too easy to say 'it's only West Brom' but that is part of the problem in situations like this, we need to be fully up for games like this and part of doing that is to play your strongest available team. It's a difficult call.

Apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what has Spain ever done for Torres?Originally posted by slimbimjim View PostWhat's Spain ever done for him?
So I shouldnt put him back into my fantasy team then no?I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

The offal:
Rafa Benitez believes the expected return of Fernando Torres against West Brom this weekend comes just at the right time after a week of spurned chances.
Profligacy in front of goal meant Liverpool took just one point from a possible six against Atletico Madrid and Tottenham.
Now, after six games without his star striker, Benitez is hopeful of a goal rush.
He told Liverpoolfc.tv: "I think Torres will be fit. He is training with the team. We'll have to talk to the player again but I think he will be okay.
"It will be very good for the team to have him back. The competition is really important, especially for the strikers. We are playing really well but we're not taking our chances.
"Hopefully it will be just the right time. If he can score a lot of goals, hopefully the other strikers can do the same."
Torres was initially expected to miss three or four games after tearing his right hamstring on international duty.
Instead the number nine has been absent from six fixtures.
Benitez added: "The injury was not very serious but he didn't have the confidence in his fitness. Because he's had similar injuries three or four times before, we didn't want to take any risks."
