    There would from me.

I think his contribution is worth far more than £15mil. I just don't see another player out there that can bring all the qualities to the team that he does and with Riera able to give real width from the left and Arbeloa able to bypass Kuyt because of his intelligence/ discipline to cover him I think a 'proper' wide player on the right might upset the good balance that we have in the team this year.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Are we talking about the West Brom game here? Seriously?

I thought he and Yossi were both woeful.

Well I watched a different 90 mins to you then, seriously.

His first touch was superb, he took absolutely everything to feet or laid it off to a teammate. Don't remember him once giving the ball away.

I remember highlighting to my mate at least four occasions where he received the ball and his poor touch meant he lost it straight away.

That's commonly known as boo-boy behaviour, where you highlight the bad things a player does and totally ignore the good work he does. Everyone does it...hell, if we all watched Gerrard and only remembered every time he misplaces a pass or tries the wrong option, we'd think he was a ****player as well.

And for the number of touches he had, if his first touch was only poor 4 times then i'd say it's not even worth mentioning.

I watched the game with a Spurs fan (who I watch a lot of our games with), and he said "Kuyt has been really good so far this season hasn't he"*. I thought he was good on Saturday. Yeah he lost the ball a couple of times but I bet SG did so more often.

                        * which also goes against Rashid's claim that all opposition fans think he is a clown.

Who said i only highlighted the bad things? Suits an agenda to suggest i did, though.

Kuyt got steadily better as the game wore on but i thought he was generally poor to average. As for 'only four times', well to be honest, i gave up pointing it out after those occasions, because it was becoming worryingly regular.

Your initial post suggested that you only highlighted the bad things, there's no agenda in me quoting your post and referring to it. If you want me to believe that you didn't just pick out the times he lost the ball (it was 4...but now more??) then you should have put those in your original post, otherwise it appears you're just trying to pick fault with the lad.

And i suggest you watch the game again, cos Kuyt did a lot...a whole lot...more good than bad, even when he didn't have the ball he was constantly moving and providing an option, or tackling back, or dragging a defender away.

Kuyt seriously lacks any cutting edge when we counter. Not his style of football. I guess thats why we have Babel on the bench.

This is going ridiculously off track really. I thought he had a poor game and quite often, the ball didnt stick when he received it, which contributed to the fact that West Brom had far more possession in the opening 20 minutes.

I watched the game at the ground and i have since watched it back on television and my opinion remains the same. His work off the ball isnt a problem but on saturday, in the first half especially, his on-ball contribution wasnt to an acceptable standard, in my view.

Sorry if i dont agree with you. Democracy, eh?
