    DIRK VOTED OCTOBER'S STAR MAN

Dirk Kuyt was voted Liverpool's star man during October by fans who took part in our online poll.

The Reds number 18 scored four vital goals during the month and scooped 35 per cent of the vote.

Spanish ace Xabi Alonso finished runner-up with 25 per cent of the vote, while Steven Gerrard was third with 16 per cent.

    Well in Dirk.
"My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. I would die for that Liverpool shirt. I think the club loves me and I feel the same, no matter what the situation." - Pepe Reina, Nov '09.

Has there ever been an attempt at a Kuyt song at Anfield?

Maybe there is one that I just haven’t heard?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The Kop is always singing this old Lulu tune:

                    Kuyt now
                    Jump up and Kuyt now
Everybody Kuyt now, everybody Kuyt now
everybody Kuyt Kuyt Kuyt Kuyt Kuyt Kuyt

Hey hey hey hey (hey hey hey hey)
Hey hey hey hey (hey hey hey hey)
Yeah yeah yeah yeah (yeah yeah yeah yeah)
                    Yeah yeah yeah yeah
For the call and response section the Anny Road does the bits in brackets.
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I virtually always sit in the kop and i've never heard that one.

                      Quite like it though

Really? Maybe you're on your mobile whenever they sing it. Or nipping out early to get a hot dog and go to the bogs. Or when you're taking pics on your phone and not concentrating properly.

All the real fans sing it.

OK, I just like the idea of The Kop singing a Lulu song for Kuyt like getting them to sing ABBA for Torres.

Kuyt is a hard worker, the team work horse who fans love for running around a lot but nothing else.
Who is also a fundamnetal part of our team and a big reason why we are sitting at the top of the league.

Face it Rashid what you think is important and what is actually important are two different things. You like shiny things, Rafa likes players that make the team win. Go Rafa
