When other team's supporters at Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are desperate for him to sign a new contract?

I have to say I'd hate for Ferguson and Wenger to stay many more years at their clubs for obvious reasons despite the latter not having won much at Arsenal - I'd love it if Wenger left.

All my mates who support other clubs, all the ******s on other forums and in talk radio shows - they all seemt to want Rafa to stay...

Why lock the thread? I think opppsition fans although biased in pbublic, deep down hold objective views - e.g. LFC fans probably appreciate what United's success is more than their own fans. Any Arsenal fans who want Wenger out would be laughed at by LFC fans. But any LFC fan who wants Rafa out isn't laughed at by anyone.

Rafa is a legend here far more so than he deserves - if you ask any top 3 clubs fans who they want Rafa or a new manager for LFC they would say Rafa.

Personally I think Rafa deserves a two year extension but only if he can challenge for the title this season.

What does it say about Rafa?
It says he had an enormous task at hand when he first came to the club.

What does it say about other team's supporters?
That they have no idea what he has done since he came, and they can't see what's going to hit them in the near future. Much like some of our ignorant fans.

I fail to see how other clubs fans are "desperate" about anything to do with our club... apart from hoping we lose when we play their teams.

Anyway. back to the pertinent point, I've just tried what you said and asked 2 Man U fans whether they want Rafa or a new manager fro LFC. Their replies were along the lines of "why do you think we give a ****, you'll still be ****e whatever". So all that's really done is start an early morning fight here but hasn't really confirmed your point.

without getting into a fight with anyone i don't think rafa signing a new contract worries anyone from the other top 4 teams.

i hope he proves them wrong but until recently our title challenge has self destructed, everyone else is thinking its a matter of time b4 this happens again this year. once this pattern changes then we will see opposition fans worry about rafa in charge.
