And Torres, who returned from a hamstring injury as a substitute in Saturday's 3-0 win over West Brom, has also praised the influence of manager Rafa Benitez.

"He is the best coach I have ever had, without a doubt," added Torres in The People. "He gets every last drop of ability out of you."

So who do you believe, Torres or some morons whos opinions nobody cares about?
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
    everyone wants to know

All my mates who support other clubs, all the ******s on other forums and in talk radio shows - they all seemt to want Rafa to stay...

                  Why?
Because your mates spend too much time listening to you talk about football.

Any Arsenal fans who want Wenger out would be laughed at by LFC fans. But any LFC fan who wants Rafa out isn't laughed at by anyone.

Rafa is a legend here far more so than he deserves - if you ask any top 3 clubs fans who they want Rafa or a new manager for LFC they would say Rafa.

Personally I think Rafa deserves a two year extension but only if he can challenge for the title this season.
                      Utter WUM.
What exactly has Wenger won in the time that Rafa has been in charge at Liverpool (4 years). Wenger's teams play pretty football. Well done Wenger. Where does it get him though? Pretty football doesn't win trophies does it? He has been offered **** loads of money to spend in the past that he hasn't out of principal. If I was a Gooner I would be furious with him. You need a proper balance between experience, technical ability, pace, mental stamina and strength to win the serious trophies now. Wengers principals forget about some of these factors. It is Wengers fault they have not one anything in recent years.

Anyway, that's by the by... We're certainly not laughing with you.

                        Right, let's tackle this honestly.

The fact is, it's massively difficult to win the title, we're in a position whereby, given the players we have, the budget we have and the lack of title-winning experience we have (compared to Chelse and ManUtd), we're not expected to win it and if we did manage to win it, it'd be a relative shock.

So taking into account all the facts, winning the title is incredibly difficult, even more difficult for us than Chelsea or Man Utd.

Because of this, i honestly dont think there's anyone you could point to and say 'yeah, he would win the title for LFC'.

Other fans, however, dont look at it from that larger perspective, they narrow the field down to the current incumbent, look at the fact that LFC hasnt made any real title challenge, and put it down to the perceived shortcomings of the manager, rather than down to the enormity of the task itself.

The manager DOES have shortcomings, but it's arguable whether it's purely down to those shortcomings that we havent/wont (if you believe we wont) win the title, or whether it's more to do with the size of the task.

I personally believe it's more to do with the latter, although any manager's shortcomings (and they all have them) would obviously make it more difficult too.

So in conclusion, the facts are it's hugely difficult for us to win the league and other fans see this, put it practically all down to the manager, and therefore conclude that it's purely down to his apparently weaknesses that we dont win the title. Consequently, they want to see this continue and they associate our failure to win or challenge for the league wholly with Rafa and therefore, want him to stay.

On another note, i think it's pathetic that people call for a poster to be banned because he has a negative (but not rule-breaking) opinion. It highlights people's own ignorance and the fact that they lack the intelligence to debate with someone that holds such a view. They cant take his opinion, they struggle to debate it properly without resorting to abuse, so their only way out is for him to be banned. Really pathetic.

Wenger's been secure in his job because he's won doubles, and league titles, they obviously make someone's position stronger. Recently, they've won nothing and there have been recent murmerings of discontent from a minority of Arsenal fans (mostly fuelled by daft media overreaction, it has to be said).

I dont think many Arsenal fans want Wenger out and they'd be stupid if they did, but the fact is, whilst they've won nothing for four years, they're virtually always CONTESTING the league title, which we've never done under Rafa. And whilst Wenger's won nothing for 4 years, we've won nothing for 2 years as well. That doesnt mean Rafa should go or is doing a bad job, but it's worth pointing out in order to put everything into context.

No Craig, its far from pathetic and it is certainly not out of ignorance or an inability to argue my case that I want Rashid banned, to be fair if we are going down this route it could be argued that your last post was very condescending and shows your ignorance to the general consensus regarding Rashid and some others. The plain and simple fact is that Rashid makes controversial statements simply to stir things up, if it was a real concern for him then surely as a Liverpool supporter, if he actually is, he would voice his concerns in a far more diplomatic manner. For me a Liverpool forum should be filled with fellow reds and therefore friends, I certainly would get no pleasure from baiting my fellow reds like Rashid seems to.

As in any relationship if someone does not bring something to the table then that relationship ends in seperation.

I think its certainly got to that stage with Rashid now.

Bollocks - if it was his first attempt to wind us up fair enough, but as someone said earlier, approx 90% of his posts are done to **** stir...
