Who mentioned other forums? I was referring to people i know, not sure about who Rashid was referring to, but the fact is, in my experience anyway, he isnt wrong about that point regarding other fans.

He wants it done quickly because he doesnt want the contract issue to become a cloud hanging over the situation and disrupting the players.

Which is fair enough.

It's not like he's some nobody who's going to end up on the scrapheap and out of work if his contract at LFC isnt renewed, and is therefore desperate to 'fool' us into giving a few more years.

Rashid did in his very first post on this thread. In my experience I have not heard fans of other clubs wanting him to stay. I have not heard other fans being bothered tbh. But, I would always accept that, just because I have not heard them I can accept that there are some out there who would want him to stay. That however does not necessarily mean the majority (or all) do.

I am trying to be rational on this and I don't resort to insults. However I have to be honest and say in the case of this individual (not you Craig) I am ****ing sick of the generalising bollocks that he spouts and as long as he does it I will keep retorting. Strangely enough when you do say something logically he chooses to ignore.

But that wasn't how it started at all. It was started by talking about other issues. The issue you mention here was not mentioned at all in the opening post. If you had started the thread with this post then it would not have been inflammatory it would be a fair opinion.
