    If there was a choice between 60m or naming the stadium 'Anfield', I'd snub the 60m.
    Nothing's a guarantee, but i'd say that without the financial clout the new stadium revenue would bring in, we're guaranteed NOT to win the title.

    The money would give us a chance.

      £60m wouldn't guarantee you a Premiership, if it did we'd have won a couple under Houllier and one under Rafa already.

          what people seem to forget is that these naming rights are usually only for ten yrs or something like that, can call it what we like after that, providing we can do without the money then.

            If we have the option, we need to do it. As for the "selling our souls" nonsense.

            We already participate in the over-commercialised orgy that is the premiership, the name selling is just an natural extension of that. It's a bit late in the day to get squeamish about revenue raising in this context.
