I thought we had agreed Dossena is a fridge player.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

He's no world beater, but better than Ziege, Riise, Aurelio, Dossena (to date) et al. I can't think off too many that are much better than him in the premiership outside of the top four.
I think we look good when Aurelio plays. There's a lot more to come from him I reckon.

Hate this judge, jury and executioner ****.

They're (Spurs) on a ****ing roll. I'm glad tonight wasn't the premier clash at Anfield.

We've seen flaws tonight, but lets get some perspective.

        Ziege's a dick though.....On a side note.
        That's the one...

Dossena was awful tonight and i honestly think he has been seriously taken aback by the pace of the english game. At times he doesn't run at full pelt as he seems to think he will have plenty of time then he looks over his shoulder and craps his pants.

I seen a bit of him last season and he looked good in a league where the game is played at a much slower pace. Aurelio can carry on doing a decent job for the time being until Dossena re-adjusts. I wouldnt rule Dossena a flop just yet, its only been 3 months. He might well click sometime soon and im still hopeful that he will.

Thank fully our first team is bloody good and some of these reserve players have a bit of time to learn from this and get better prepared.

At the end of the day, we're in a better position than we have been for a while, all things considered, especially considering the off-the-pitch soap opera. Our priorities are clearly far, far different than Spurs'.

Atleast we made 10 changes and never had a strong team out at home to lose to burnley

Life is good when you can laugh at Chelsea losing to burnley at the bridge and arsenal losing to hull, stoke and fulham

From what I saw this is my evaluation of tonights starting line up -

Cavalieri - good steady keeper who would only get better if he had a run of games. I like this guy.
Degen - Looked poor but that could be down to lack of match fitness.
                  Hyypia - Legend.
Agger - Good steady performance, bit hit or miss at present but steadily working his way back to form.
Dossena - Looks a very poor signing at present, had a good run of games yet still doesnt seem to get better.
El Zhar - Tricky, energetic, not great at the defending side but always tries hard and does have that little bit of magic..would like him to have a lot more sub appearances to see if he can make the grade.
Plessis - seems very ordinary but id like to think he can get a lot better.
Lucas - Something lacking in this kid, cant say exactly what but I dont think he will ever be of the grade necessary for us.
Babel - infuriating as ****, got all the skills and class, pace to burn, maybe mental attitude lacking but ive noticed he seems to be trying harder lately so maybe we are at a crossroads. Lets hope he picks the right route!
                  Torres - legend.
Ngog - didnt do much, hasnt done much, wont do much. Sell him.

Sorry mate. That part was very much a general comment. Certainly not directed at your post in particular.

                      Not what i'd call unfair.

I have 100% faith in Rafa. It feels nice to be going with the flow and not getting too upset with anything.

I'm saving my opinion until at least february.

He was never better than Riise when they were both at the club and I'd have Fab over warnock any day also. We may not have seen the best or Ziege but he was a full german international so that says something does it not!

He doesnt look happy at all maybe suffering from depression, hopefully when he gets used to the lanugage he might settle in a bit better.

was exactly what I was thinking, but their kids have been playing together for a long time and that does allow them to gel better.

Degen - Looked poor but that could be down to lack of match fitness - Also pulled out of the challenge that Gomes got injured in, could have got there first for 4-3.
Hyypia - Legend WAS a legend, now too old and too slow..
Agger - Good steady performance, bit hit or miss at present but steadily working his way back to form Played in a back 4 with the 3 blind mice last night.
Dossena - Looks a very poor signing at present, had a good run of games yet still doesnt seem to get betterObviously better going forward and must be better than currently showing.
El Zhar - Tricky, energetic, not great at the defending side but always tries hard and does have that little bit of magic..would like him to have a lot more sub appearances to see if he can make the grade. - Generally agreed, thought he should have stayed wider in the first half but definatley showed desire, work rate and flair.
Plessis - seems very ordinary but id like to think he can get a lot better. - Struggled but I did see him pass forward once I think rather than back and sideways so he is making progress!!
Lucas - Something lacking in this kid, cant say exactly what but I dont think he will ever be of the grade necessary for us. - I thought he tried hard and was more combatative than of late.
Babel - infuriating as ****, got all the skills and class, pace to burn, maybe mental attitude lacking but ive noticed he seems to be trying harder lately so maybe we are at a crossroads. Lets hope he picks the right route! - Better in the 1st half, went on the outside and tried crossing with his left foot which was none existent last year, signs of continued improvement
Torres - legend. - Agreed, clearly didn't try a leg though, treated it for what it was for him an excercise in increasing match firness and sharpness. Having Torres easing his way back didn't help the rest of the side though.
Ngog - didnt do much, hasnt done much, wont do much. Sell him -Would like to see him given more opportunity at the end of games as an impact player, only been here 5 mins so will wait until next season..

The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Cavalieri - good steady keeper who would only get better if he had a run of games. I like this guy. Personally I would have Martin as second choice keeper.
Degen - Looked poor but that could be down to lack of match fitness. Not convinced at all - I mean he was not even a regular for Dortmund.
                                Hyypia - Legend.Agreed.
Agger - Good steady performance, bit hit or miss at present but steadily working his way back to form. Ditto
Dossena - Looks a very poor signing at present, had a good run of games yet still doesnt seem to get better.Won't be here next season, possibly will be gone in January.
El Zhar - Tricky, energetic, not great at the defending side but always tries hard and does have that little bit of magic..would like him to have a lot more sub appearances to see if he can make the grade. Absolutely right - he looks like he wants it and should get more of a chance. Deserves a break.
Plessis - seems very ordinary but id like to think he can get a lot better.Could really benefot from being loaned out to another PL club - then we can assess him properly.
Lucas - Something lacking in this kid, cant say exactly what but I dont think he will ever be of the grade necessary for us.Agreed.
Babel - infuriating as ****, got all the skills and class, pace to burn, maybe mental attitude lacking but ive noticed he seems to be trying harder lately so maybe we are at a crossroads. Lets hope he picks the right route!Really surprised and disappointed with the stick he is getting. I think he will be a great player for us. Always looks a threat on the ball and defenders cannot cope when he runs at them. Would like to see him play centrally alongside Torres
                                Torres - legend.
Ngog - didnt do much, hasnt done much, wont do much. Sell him.Should have kept Voronin. And that is saying something. Even better, Nemeth or Pacheco should get in ahead of him.
