    Rafa Manager of the Month

Rafa Benitez has today been named Barclays Manager of the Month for October.
The Reds enjoyed four straight league victories in October which soar them soar to the top of the Premier League table.

A thrilling comeback from 2-0 down at Manchester City was followed by another 3-2 victory at home to Wigan before the Reds travelled to Chelsea to memorably end the home side's unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge.

The month ended with another victory at home to Portsmouth, with Steven Gerrard sealing the points with a late penalty.

"I am really pleased to receive this on behalf of my staff because they are doing very well. People like Sammy Lee, Mauricio Pellegrino, Xavi Valero and Paco Di Miguel," said Benitez today.

"It's important for the staff and it's important because it means the team is playing well - you can't win Manager of the Month unless the team is winning.

"It means the club is in a good position. Hopefully we can receive more awards like this because it means we'll be in a good position at the end of the season."

Any odds on Bolton winning by the most dubious penalty ever courtesy of Rob Styles?

He actually owes us one. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we got one when the ball was in Reina's hands.

                        What curse?

It never gets mentioned when someone wins their first game after getting Manager of the Month. People only notice when they lose.

                        Stop being so superstitious.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

un bad rashid and let see how long it takes him to say

"i was wrong - rafa is a good manager"
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
