They gave it to him on purpose to strength the curse! Poxy black novembers!!

If we win on Saturday the curse will be broken and we'll win the league.

Bolton away is hard enough for us. Throw in november, manager of the month and paul merson's prediction......

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

A thrilling comeback from 2-0 down at Manchester City was followed by another 3-2 victory at home to Wigan before the Reds travelled to Chelsea to memorably end the home side's unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge.

The month ended with another victory at home to Portsmouth, with Steven Gerrard sealing the points with a late penalty.

"I am really pleased to receive this on behalf of my staff because they are doing very well. People like Sammy Lee, Mauricio Pellegrino, Xavi Valero and Paco Di Miguel," said Benitez today.

"It's important for the staff and it's important because it means the team is playing well - you can't win Manager of the Month unless the team is winning.

"It means the club is in a good position. Hopefully we can receive more awards like this because it means we'll be in a good position at the end of the season."

I think Manager of the Month is a Premiership only award.

Having said that the first Tottenham game still counts of course so you're probably right.

In fact at this rate it'll be 'Arry 'Otspur (or Judas as he's known down the road in lovely Portsmouth).

OK, no more superstitions about Manager of the Month awards, please.

                And November.

                  And November.

We would have lost today if it wasn't for this forum's successful attempt at putting the anti-mockers on Rafa.
