Great result and Kuyt is making some Liverpool fans look very foolish, he would be my player of the season so far.
Some chances missed but the football that led up to them was normally great and only a matter of time before we tank someone.

With ruthless finishing it would have been 7 for us. Kuyt rattled crossbar, misses from Stevie and Keane, Torres hit the post & Lucas put his header just wide.

We could have made it a lot easier for ourselves. On the other hand three points and a clean sheet will do nicely.

Great win, but we have to be more ruthless in front of goal. Could have cost us today, as it did against spurs. Great to see Torres beginning to hit form again. Well done, lads

He was top class again today. His 'game intelligence' is of the highest calibre. Dragged their fullback all over the place in the first half and what a header.

Made me laugh how many times sky said Alonso had switched the play over to him in the build up to the goal though, it was Mascherano.

I was really impressed with the display. It's nice to see that some of the hype doesn't appear to be getting to us. I'm pleasantly surprised to see us getting better despite a couple of setbacks, although there are rightful question marks over the finishing.

We should definitely score more. If this season gets down to goal difference, Chelsea are gonna crush us, +13 vs +25 at the moment.

Good win today, we played very well in the first half and should have closed the game earlier.

I am however not that impressed by our second half, we where actually close to conceding several times and I had a feeling that bolton might as well have equalised at one point. We need to be better at getting the second goal!

But overall we can be happy with our display, and good seeing agger continue after his tooth accident

Very good result, thought we could have done with an extra man in the final third at times but the Reebok isn't an easy place to go.

Another Alonso masterclass today but Kuyt continues to grow. The guy's renaissance has been beautiful to witness. He is a threat and one of our key players; striking the ball so cleanly and powerfully, and a fantastic header for the goal...something I've not seen in his locker before.

So happy to be proven wrong over Dirk. He must've known his position in the team was under threat and he's risen to the challenge. Fantastic.
