He is a good solid left back who has enough quality in both defence and attack. Just one thing though, somebody please stop him taking free kicks, you just jnow every time he gets the ball hes going to place it perfectly 6" either above or just wide of whatever paricular piece of woodwork hes aiming for.

aurellio every year he's been here gets better with a run of games then gets injured. unfortunately just when he hits top form. i hope this season is different for him.Originally posted by Matt View PostCan I just add that the visible progress he's made shouldn't be lost on the people screaming to get rid of Dossena only three months into his career.
dossena meanwhile isn't fit to lace the boots of an off form (never mind in form) aurelio and the fact he cost 7 million pounds is more than enough reason to think we made a mistake buying this lad.

Do you think it's impossible Dossena may also get better with a run of games?Originally posted by rage View Postaurellio every year he's been here gets better with a run of games then gets injured. unfortunately just when he hits top form. i hope this season is different for him.

Your analysis seems inconsistent..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

dossena's shown nothing. i'd sell him at the end of the season. this italy no 1 is bollox also. if he's crap for us it doesn't matter how many friendlies he's played for italy or against no-body opposition.
aurellio will start everytime he's fit and when the opposition is strong. that to me shows that dossena is a 7 million pound mistake.

So...Patrice Evra had a **** start at the Mancs. In his first season, "he showed nothing" and Heinze was preferred against strong opposition. Then Evra settled in, Heinze was shipped out and now the Frenchman is arguably the best left-back in the league.Originally posted by rage View Postdossena's shown nothing. i'd sell him at the end of the season. this italy no 1 is bollox also. if he's crap for us it doesn't matter how many friendlies he's played for italy or against no-body opposition.

However....oh wise one rage would've ****ed him off after 10 minutes 'cos he looked ****'.

evra had a bad debut. did u follow his development at utd?Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostSo...Patrice Evra had a **** start at the Mancs. skertl had a bad debut but immediately got better.
dossena has not improved one single bit since he got here, infact he's got worse. also for us 7 million was a record signing for a defender.
oh and i don't remember heinze being shipped out, more he wanted to leave.
you started writing for a newspaper with that selected interpretation of yours?

Evra had more than a bad debut. He was widely derided amongst United fans.
Okay Heinze "wanted to leave" but that was because he wasn't playing FFS, bar the occasional game at centre-back. The point is an international left-back came in, looked ****, and blossomed given time. You would've ****ed him off in no time yet now he's the best around. You're a knee-jerker pal, no argument. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

There are rumours, abeit in pretty **** papers like NOTW that Rafa's not happy with him and he may even be off in Jan
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

That'll be because he's not very good.John Arne Riise has miserably flopped at the Stadio Olimpico so far, and the Romans could ironically try to land the man who replaced the Norwegian at Anfield.
Re Dossena...this'll just be rubbish papers putting two and two together and making five. Rafa said this about Dossena yesterday...
Journalist: Andrea Dossena has struggled since he's arrived. Is there anything you can do to help him adapt to playing in a flat back four?
Rafa: When you buy a foreign player you have to be patient. Look at Daniel Agger - for the first few months everyone was going 'hmm'. They were not talking really well about him. One year later and he's the best technical centre-back in the Premier League. We can talk about players in a few months after seeing how they progress - that's when we can talk about whether they are the right standard for us.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

God you don't half talk out of your arse sometimes ... he has just arrived for ****s sake .. sort your life out would you ... by your logic Evra would be sold for glue, as would Ferguson or Shanks.. all crap ... as is Kuyt as wellOriginally posted by rage View Postdossena's shown nothing. i'd sell him at the end of the season. this italy no 1 is bollox also. if he's crap for us it doesn't matter how many friendlies he's played for italy or against no-body opposition.
