the only thing Jermaine did was stupid enough to get caught , this tends to happen when you dont give a ****. I have seen premiership players wake up and grab a bottle of beer at 10am Sunday morning. Yes some players drink/do coke but then they are not going to get to the top of there game......but then I have discussed this with a few of them , I quote 1 premiership player.......

i can get paid 50,000 a week and still have a life, enjoy me beer and know i have a quaity life . ....or i can give it my all, be squeaky clean and i still wont be much better!!

There are some things that a professional footballer should just not be seen doing. Especially one like Pennant, whose career is hanging by a thread.

Why do you suppose it's Pennant we're talking about here, and not Gerrard, Carra, Torres, Sami Hyypia..etc?

Maybe because of his upbringing and for that reason we should give him a little bit of slack? People are talking about him neing a role model to kids. What about his role models as a child?
