Not only do we go and spend £11m on a raw talent, we bring him into a new league, into a formation he's not used to and play him out of his preferred position

In summary, we've got a young player, in a new league and then decide to play him out of position and hope that he'll turn into a world beating winger.

Personally I just don't get his treatment and why he was bought.

I'd love to see him played up front with Torres where he belongs.
He's not clever enough to play off Torres, he lacks the football brain needed to play alongside or off Torres.

He's an Ajax left sided forward through and through. We will never see the best of him till we actually play him there....which isn't going to happen with Riera now here.

i actually think you're spot on there harvey.

babel was brought in when we aspired for our width to be provided from the fullbacks. this didn't seem to be working early on this season and riera was brought in. this alongside the purchase of keane means we play 442 more often. where does babel fit in a 442? possibly as a rotation for torres maybe but then why buy ngog?

i actually don't think babel's lack of starts is anything to do with babel but rather a change in strategy by rafa. babel is now potentially surplus to requirements imo and will be sold in the near future.

It's truly scary thinking about what might go on in the mind of the person who took that photo.

I don't mind people venting their frustrations if they are able to back it up when they get on the pitch and for me Babel hasn't done enough this season to warrant a starting place
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  Same goes for Keane IMO

                    Exactly.

If anything he is clarifying that he wants to stay at LFC. After past comments people may have got the wrong impression, so I am glad he has put those rumours to bed.
