I totally agree that we shouldnt expect to win all home games against the lesser sides, because you WILL have games that you dont win, even if you should, for one reason or another.

Drawing 3 of 8 home games so far, is something that worries me, more so in the manner of the draws. They were all the same type of game, where we werent able to break through and, to me, they point to something in our game that's been a weakness for a while and which we have to improve, otherwise we wont win the title.

It's certainly a fair argument but it can equally be said that we got what 2 points less than United last year against teams outside the top four. As it is a long standing weakness then I would suggest that up until know it has been largely balanced by qualities elsewhere. The fact that we have improved in certain areas since last year, notably breaking our inferiority complex when playing the other top 4 teams, and are top of the league after a good sampling of the teams in the division are good signs that this might well continue.

We can't keep showing the same failing but for example towards the end of last season we had improved to a point where it was no longer an issue.

I really thought that what Gerrard had feared back in December would happen in March or April not in January.

If there is a player who deserves to win the Premnier League it is Gerrard who is by far a better player than the likes of O Shea and Carrick.

But when he spoke 8 weeks ago of the lost points at home, some of us reacted:
We are still first... Gerrard is being negative...

If Gerrard and Torres are going to win the league this year, we need a miracle!!!

Well, like most people, this weekend was the make or break for me. We came through it. As long as we are nipping away at the back of utd's heels, I think that is the best position for us.

We can go back to our underdog mentality now and start playing football which is going to be our best bet for a major challange.
