of those 3 can only see rijkaard as wanting to come now, if hiddink turned chelsea down cant see him coming to us and I think Maureen might but not sure.....but what happens if those 3 arent interested what then? talented managers are on short supply. Who else?

Agree with this 100%. You could count on your fingers managers in the game that one could argue are better than Rafa. If you then remove the ones that couldn't/wouldn't come you're left with.....

If you really beleive this to be the case, are you starting a 'Rafa out - Jose in' campaign? If not, why not?

If Rafa doesn't win us (or get adequately close to) the league in 2009, would JM do any better with largely the same squad in 2010? Arguably I suppose, but if we do come close this season I'd rather give Rafa another go. Someone stated that before teams win the league they tend to come close the season before. I think this could be that season for us

Turning down chelsea doesnt mean much, i dont think.

Remember, these guys arent teenagers who just started watching football 5 years ago, they're football men who know their onions and know the glorious institution that is LFC.
