where do you think is acceptable to finish now come may ??
there are obviously a few who struggle to understand this concept but imo as we are now top if (if) we were to finish 3rd or worse that would be a bad season

and yeah i get the message we all want to finish 1st - which i actually think we will

I think it depends. If we finish a distant third (say more than 6 points behind) then it will definitely be disappointing. If we finish fourth then it will be bad. If we finish third but are competing until at least April then at least we can say we have closed a gap and hopefully built a platform to kick on.

Hard to say,it depends on the context.If we were within a couple at the start of april then ended up over ten points off in may I'd still accept that as being a good go at the title.

It's mad to think that we are still not halfway throught the season yet.

Frustration is the key word at the moment and it would be nice to add to what we have got in January to push on.

its difficult and for me there are more factors than merely points total. We all know that after a team has won/lost with a few games to go the team seletions go out the window and therefore points could be made up/lost but not really mean anything. For me Id like to see us get more natural attacking rhythm sorted out so that regardless of our final league position we will have made sure we are really pushing for the title year after year. Id also like to see some of our potential superstars (babel, keane) played or sold, I cant be doing with the endless conflict that these inadvertently bring to the table, through no fault of their own it must be said. FA Cup and Champs League runs are a must and so to conclude to constitute a good season id like to see us get to at least quarter final stages of all meaningful cup competitions and be in the mix with 5 games to go but having sorted out any player issues and finally having got the fluidity to our attack that is so sorely lacking.

Top three but within eight points of the leaders would be acceptable for me.

This is our best chance to win the league in a long, long time as neither the Mancs or the Chavs are firing on all cylinders. I still can't see us going all the way but I live in hope.
