Let's play games in empty stadiums then.

This is a ridiculous statement. Supporters are the 12th man and we were renowned for putting an extra man on the pitch back in the days. Not any more. Your reaction simply confirms what I've said all along.

Supporters nowadays are fickle, bored and disinterested. They only want the glory.

It's obvious he would have been. There's no passion at Anfield these days ... well they tend to preserve it for european games when we're back against it.

Shankly was a passionate man and I can bet my life he would have been out in the press giving supporters a rollicking if he was still there. You can't argue that's why you won't.

its time we took it imo

If we don't take it this season we will regret these missed opportunities of course, but at least we are finally in the mix.

I can't be bothered when I watch the state the game is in these days. We don't have a god given right to win every game; teams are always improving and it's not easy. Results lately have confirmed that. That's why we should roar the team out and make them do that little bit extra when we are lacking something.

What I meant is that I won't let a negative result affect my life ... I get on with it and don't moan all week because of it.

I can' t remember the Liverpool of the 80's winning the league and drawing home vs the likes of Stoke and Fulham. Perhaps it was in 1990 when we won the league with only 79 points.

Again playing 4-5-1 is not that bad, but remember we wanted to score and Rafa only tried to change the game' s plan in the last minutes. Giving Babel 8 minutes and not playing a 20 million striker when we wanted a goal!!! What wa he thinking?

Was he expecting a goal from Mascherano?

He had offensive players to choose from and he opted to leave them on the bench.

That is why some of us are so negative.

Shanks started it all ... It implied Bob and Joe and every other one.

Why don't you put up your argument out then instead of acting like you know more?

Anfield won't be empty while we're a top team.

And I think Liverpool fans have a certain arrogance, the idea that we make a huge difference to whether we win or not. I'm sorry, but a december game against Hull would never have created an atmosphere to stir the soul. We a famous for the atmosphere in big games, and realistically, it's always been that way bar a good singalong before kickoff, at least for a couple of decades. You glamourised view of the past is based on what is bordering on a myth, a myth we perpetuate because we think it puts us in a good light.

I do not condone booing, or women at matches but football has changed and we are not immune.
