He could make am impact for sure.Originally posted by Jaymo View Posti'd like to see us try and get Podolski on loan, for 6 months.. Highly unlikely to happen though
He is quite unhappy in munich, so don't see it would be unlikely for him to go on loan, the question is if rafa would be interested in him.

Queue the anti Rafa brigade "He's far to attacking/creative/good/a goal threat for Rafa's defensive style. He only plays donkeys blah, blah blah...."
Podolski's very hit and miss. When he's on fire he's awesome but when he's off form or uninterested, he's useless. I'd rather have Owen back, but I don't think that one will happen eitherIt's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

Finnan?????Originally posted by JPK View PostMcGeady and Finnan would be two good moves if we could get them. Spurs want Finnan and McGeady with the view to a permanent move would be a good one although Celtic would be crazy to loan him.

There is a reason for this, trust me, week in week out he is dire, lazy and sulks worse than Anelka. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

I see that Maureen is reluctantly letting Adriano leave in Jan, has anyone got an update as to how he has been playing of late? I know he went to Brazil on loan for a while and seemed to recover his form and Inter brought him back for this season. Would he be worth a look at (even if it a short term deal?)

Anyone who comes in will have to come in and give a consistent contribution - for the last many years Adriano has been highly unreliable and I don't want any of the coaching staff to have to spend their time mollycoddling him to keep him on the straight an narrow. I also don't see him adding anything in a partnership with Torres.Originally posted by Parm View PostI see that Maureen is reluctantly letting Adriano leave in Jan, has anyone got an update as to how he has been playing of late? Id heard he had the taste for the party lifestlye and that was why he'd gone off the rails a bit.Originally posted by dww View PostAnyone who comes in will have to come in and give a consistent contribution - for the last many years Adriano has been highly unreliable and I don't want any of the coaching staff to have to spend their time mollycoddling him to keep him on the straight an narrow.
