In the hunt till the end that's all I wanted at the start of the season. Finishing 2nd or 3rd doesn't bother me if we had a chance to win it right to the end. I think the prem will be tight this year with no more than 6 pts seperating 1 st and 3rd positions.

It really depends on the circumstances - Torres could have more injury problems coupled with some attrocious bad luck and poor decisions from Refs.

I'll wait until the end of the season and base my assesment on the things that Rafa has had complete control over before I pass judgement. Its fairly pointless to say what will be acceptable until all the facts are known otherwise you are just creating an unrealistic expectation (in my opinion).

Rafa took over the worst Liverpool side for decades, and has now built the team into title contenders. He has put us back on the European map. He has a core group of players that would walk into most teams in the world.
