What a load of rubbish. Do you even support Liverpool? Liverpool fans are supposed to be some of the most knowledgeable in the world, you clearly dont fall into that category.

Rafa took over the worst Liverpool side for decades, and has now built the team into title contenders. He has put us back on the European map. He has a core group of players that would walk into most teams in the world.

What worries me is if we don't win it - on the one hand we'll have had the experience of being so close and wanting it more next year, but on the other it may give the teams around us a kick up the arse and just make our fans even more impatient and anxious

Like someone has already mentioned its impossible to say now because we could have all sorts of injury issues, we have managed to stay top pretty much without Torres all season, if he somehow stays out for the remainder and we finish 3rd id say that was magnificent!

I can see us pushing on after xmas but even if we didnt and we had a terrible end to the season id still want Rafa in charge.

That is a very myopic way of looking at it though. It is not simply down to the number of points. The quality of the league then was far lower. Teams never got over 90 points in winning the league. finishing 8th under Souness was disgraceful.

To be honest though anything other than winning it would be a massive dissapointment.

I can understand the point of being so many points behind the leaders but we can't account for what other teams do, so what if we were to finish 3rd 2 points behind the team that wins it, would that be acceptable or not?
