I just can't get my head around the fact we've done what we've done so far without Torres, and with Keane up until now misfiring.

Just brilliant, we are in great position, and will be signing TORRES in Jan...well sort of, he'll be back anyhow...hopefully.

Joe Kinnear in his post-match interview has just called us "the best team I've seen in a long while".
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

          Excellent

I like Joe Kinnear, he is straight talking as anyone, and seldomly tries to find excuses!

If Chelsea **** up today - next up for them Mancs at OT. We're at Stoke. Do we dare to dream yet?
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Hate to be the killjoy here but isn't that what all managers say when they've been whacked at home?

Did anyone manage to suss out what formation we were playing at the end? Seemed to be a 3-5-2?

More 5-4-1 with Babel having the freedom to cut in and help N'Gog.

For all Sky's desperation to blame the result on Newcastle's performance, I thought we we made them look poor with a superb, controlled, clinical display. The midfield trio were brilliant.

Although, I thought it was going to be one of those days when we missed all the chances early on.

                            Can't say it is, no.

Why drop both goalscorers plus the man of the match from the last game???

If you are scared about the poor dears getting tired then rest them against Preston in the cup FFS!
Rafa has been reading that article from Bascombe, and wants to prove him wrong...So he has decided to go for the Treble

Quite amusing reading the first page or so of the match thread, with people bemoaning the team selection, the dropping of players, the Lucas/Mascher axis...

...could it be Rafa actually knows what he's doing?
