I know this sounds crazy, but looking at some of the press and especially Kenny dalglish support for Gerrard which i know we expect, the point i am trying to get across is that stevie seems to have more support than condemnation,i know the press are predators and would often try and destroy a celebrity in these circumstances, but its all about selling papers and i think that the press will find a groundswell of sympathy towards stevie, even now people i know who would normally thrive on this story are being more realistic and saying things like he must have been provoked or he never did it,i know this means nothing if gerrard is found guilty but i can see a backlash against the victim if all this doesn't seem kosher, lets hope

I can see the Blue****e coming up with some blinders for that one.
Let's hope he's not in the same Kangaroo court as some people have put him in on here.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

So Steven Gerrard was in the Lounge in Southport on Sunday night and Kenny Dalglish was in the night before. Southport’s a small place. The Lounge seems popular with the local footballing glitterati. Bet punters like Gerrard and Dalglish spend big and give the place a certain cache. Must be good for business. You’d think therefore the Lounge’s priority in promoting their business would be to be look after the needs of their number one, A list, local celebrity. Guy like Gerrard should be able to go in there, enjoy a few quite drinks once in a while and be looked after, watched over and respected.
Instead of which they seem to have let loose some country cousin, amateur dj who behaved like an asshole and provoked a fight that now threatens the reputation of their most valuable client. Hope the ‘friendly and relaxed venue’ ever so discreetly goes out of business.

exactly mate,it stinks,it will be interesting to see why that guy was there in the first place when claims were made that the victim was not the dj on that evening just someone who had been invited by the owner,i dont know maybe i am clutching at straws here but if a paper had put him up to this or he was just there to make mischief it would make a better story than the one now doing the rounds,i can see this guy especially alleged quotes from the family saying" the first thing they did was call in legal advice" shooting himself in the foot, just trying to be positive maybe misguided but positive.Originally posted by focusedonfootball View PostSo Steven Gerrard was in the Lounge in Southport on Sunday night and Kenny Dalglish was in the night before. Gutted that my mate, who knew all about Cisse getting caught driving while wearing his wifes dress, knows nothing about this incident
