      Sounds like elvoz.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Surely that depends on what was done to provoke such an action? Gossip columns would suggest it was provoked by refusing to play a song, but they rarely get the right story.

            IMO.
I said he'll get away with it scott free, not because he's a celebrity, but because I believe him to likely be an innocent party caught up in the scuffle. The ECHO already suggests he was not the one who bottled the DJ - meaning he will obviously not be found guilty for the offence he was originally charged with - dependant on what else happened of course.

It seems that the blokes injuries are'nt too bad, more by luck than judgement, because pictures of a victim with stitches in the face is not an image we would want to see featured in media reports concerning LFC.

Hopefully the fella will look ok...so that most people's impression is one of ..."he hardly touched him by the looks of it".
As I said before, let's wait to get the full story before condeming someones actions - though as you say it does seem unlikely the DJ did enough to deserve getting glassed/bottled over the head. And I agree, cowardly action using a weapon.
            Forwards.......

                Rafa backs gerrard - offal

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has given Steven Gerrard his full backing following the events of earlier this week.

The Reds boss, who returned to Melwood today for the first time since undergoing surgery on a kidney stone problem a fortnight ago, said: "Steven is our captain and a key player for us, but more than this, I know him as a nice person.

"I sat down with him this morning and had a very good talk with him about the situation and I was also able to speak at length with our club lawyer.

"Steven explained to me what had happened and I told him he has my full support and backing, along with everyone else at the football club.

"He's trained with the other lads this morning after a couple of days off for the squad and is keen now to focus solely on his football.

"We've worked very hard to get into the position we're in going through to the New Year and all of us are determined to keep that progress going.

"We'll do whatever we can to support Steven in the weeks ahead, but we're now concentrating on our preparation for the FA Cup game at Preston this weekend."
                Forwards.......

Reading Rafas comments what is clear as daylight is this:

He has asked Stevie to exlain how he got involved and what happened and Rafa has accepted he was not at fault or in the wrong.

What's more, the clubs lawyers have indicated he will not be in bother, as otherwise Rafa would have kept his mouth shut.

Like I said, Stevie will be innocent and gulity by association at this early stage.
                  Forwards.......

Of course, my post was only a reaction to seeing elvos post that a bottle may have been used, i was more giving my opinion on an un-named persons actions hypothetically, should it turn out to be true that a bottle was indeed used, that's how i would feel about said person....wriggle wriggle.

                      Excellent stuff.

Lets forget about it and carry on winning matches

Rafa could not have said anything better than that. Very reassuring.

Rafa has come out in public and backed his player and rightly so. I expect him to have given the biggest rocket up Gerrard's arse today in training.

                              It was a joke.

I know elvoz seems to have a lot going on with various posters but to be honest I don't know what that's all about.

I just wish he'd stop posting jokes.
