How can anyone say who is the clear favourite at this moment in time?

    Ridiculously defeatist.

Carra was looking for the mind games to start and here they are.
Just shows how worried the mancs are.
We have the points in the bag, if we keep up our current form we will be in a good position at the end of the month.

Just keep winning our games and don't rely on others slipping up. We can only control our own destiny.

        Feck me, I'm excited.

Boro have on occasion got under the scums skin, would be nice if tonight was one such time, a draw would be superb.

No chance. The mancs are ruthless at home. Most teams are beaten before they cross the line.

Their away form has been scatty at best, mind.

If Southgate can get them up for this match I fancy Boro to nick a result tonight.

I fancy Chelsea to get a result against them next week.

Bottom line is Fergie would rather be in our shoes right now and they have it all to do. Games in hand don't mean jack, its all about the points in the bag.

They weren't ruthless against Sunderland mind.

"The second half of the season is the most important. When you lose a game it really means something, in particular when you get to March and April.

"We've got the squad so, hopefully, we can cope," said Fergie. "At the moment there's a trend of the sides at the top dropping more points.

"It happened last season, teams getting results you didn't expect. Manchester City beat us twice and we also lost at Bolton. It tells you that in this league you can lose anywhere, because it's so competitive."

They still ground out the win.

Every top side has one or two of those games a season, but the mancs are usually unbeatable at home.

I have a feeling Chelsea might get the win there, but they probably won't now I've said it.

I think we are the only team who deserve that accolade this year

Nice to be involved in his mind games for once, shows we have him scared.

The points dropping should hopefully begin against Chelsea next Sunday.
yup, that is a big game for us, will put a huge dent in one teams chances and we can only benefit
