Bollocks, we're good enough, we've just ****ed up.

        Well done yourself.

People have dismissed our ****e performances and inability to break down ****e defences, by blindly stating that we're top of the league.

Well, it's papered over the cracks and this time next week, it wont be valid anymore. Then what will the excuse-makers say?
It has plenty of meaning. 91 clubs want to be were we are and you say we are blinded by it. That is daft.

Tell you what why don't we just give up now and go home? Might as well.

Are Manchester United good enough to beat Newcastle, Everton and Tottenham?

Why are you putting out your own question and not answering mine?

Because all I was saying was that your point is silly.

But what about other teams failures. What about the fact we beat Utd comfortably last time we played them. What about how poor Utd have been up to today?

But clearly we must be doing worse than everyone else.

Couldn't possibly be just a tougher league this season could it. Clear Utd have the season won already.

We've beaten Chelsea and Manchester United this season, so of course on paper we are capable of beating any team in the Premiership. It doesn't necessarily follow that we will, and we're top of the league because we've amassed more points than the other 19 teams over the first half of the season. Surely you can see the positive in that?

Why cant you realise that other teams failures are irrelevant if we just do what we should?

Do you not WANT us to beat lesser sides? Do you not want us to win the league?

If you do, then you must see why people are gutted when we **** up against ****ty Stoke.

You were saying we werent good enough to beat those lesser sides i mentioned, so which is it?

We're top because we've played 2 more games than United.

I said we obviously weren't during those particular games because we didn't.

United have to win those two games in hand which they probably will. If they do then we won't be top of the league any more, simple as. All we can do is keep improving and hopefully win enough games to be in with a shout at the end of the season.

Manchester United are a better side than we are at the moment, and let's not be too disrespectful to Stoke. Stoke achieved good results against Arsenal and Aston Villa this season, Man United only beat them by a single goal scored in the last five minutes.

                        You're obviously a half-empty bloke. Which sounds a bit wrong when I re-read it.

It's not half empty, i just know we've had a huge opportunity to be miles clear and we've ****ed it up.

Stoke, Hull, Fulham and West Ham are **** and we couldnt beat them.

That pisses me off, as i'd expect it to do with any Liverpool fan.

Not this one mate - I'm disappointed, but happy to be top of the league four points clear. Next week is another week, don't get yourself too uptight about it!

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I cant fathom any Liverpool fan who isnt pissed off at failing to beat Stoke twice, and Hull, Fulham and West Ham at Anfield.

How can you not be pissed off at that?

I'm not directing that at anyone in particular, i just mean i cant understand how any LFC fan could be not pissed off at those results.
