Isnt this a discussion forum about LFC?

So i'm discussing our fortunes and how i feel about it.

Personally, i'm ****ed off that United are within touching distance.

I'd love to just forget about it, it's not a conscious choice to be pissed off. But i cant help how i feel.

Fair enough but how many posts, or threads for that matter, do you need to reiterate the same point?!

Your getting frustrated at people for saying they are happy to still be in contention by January, but then you're talking as if we have already blown any chance we had of winning the title!

Trust me mate, every single Liverpool supporter will be reuing the fact that we have missed opportunities to be further ahead, it annoys me too, but just try on concentrate on the fact that we are still in with a very good shout of winning the title this season.

I'm as ****ed off as anyone but having had time to digest the disappointing results this weekend i've now come to the conclusion, the show must go on and we fight to the bitter end. This isn't over.

We'd be in with a huge chance of we'd not ****ed up in easy games.

I'd rather be in with a huge chance, and i'd rather have 8 more points than we currently do.

          Sorry for feeling that way.

Come on Craig, at least we are in with a chance nevermind a huge one, you'd have took that at the start of the season?
We're all disappointed and frustrated but when you think about it we're still in good shape to win the title.

We'd all rather have 8 more points than we do, but we don't, so use dwelling on it.

Feel whatever way you want but it will make **** all difference to our points tally!

If i thought the dopped points wouldnt cost us and we'll win it, i might not be so pissed off about it.

Sadly though, i'm now totally convinced the mancs will win it. And it'll be because we couldnt beat ****e relegation fodder ffs.

I've not said it'll make a difference, but is this not a forum for people to air their views on LFC?

The whole "we should but we dont, so oh well" attitude does my head in.

It's like saying, never mind, that's life, it doesnt matter etc etc.

It does matter and i do mind. I'm genuinely stunned that people seem so blase about it, they dont seem remotely fussed. I find it sincerely incredible mate.

Yeah i'm with you pal, it is very disheartening thinking about it, as a 20 year i'm never seen us win the title and it would be the greatest day of my life if we win it. However we cant do anything about this weekends results, just have to focus on winning our next game.

I don't think people mean to sound blase about it and thats definitely not how I mean to come across at all, if it was you would be completely right to be so pissed off.

All I mean is that I don't see the use in agonizing over what could have been, its not going to get you anywhere. I don't want to brood over results like Fulham, Hull and Stoke, because it winds me up too.

There are many more results waiting to happen that will shape our season,
like winning our next match against Everton and even the possibility of Man U dropping a couple of points before then.

Don't you reckon its better to concentrate on things like that, because these can still actually happen, as can Liverpool winning the League.

That kind of thinking certainly makes me feel better than agonizing over those 8 points.

I totally agree with you Pepe and i wouldnt dispute any of that.

All i can say to it, is that i dont choose to 'dwell' on the results mate, i'd rather just draw a line under them and leave it. Usually the next win enables me to do that, it's just typical that it's 8 days away

                            Have a good night fella.

lets just hope that wigan and bolton put up huge fights in their local derbies this week! Fantasy island time, wigan squeeze a point, and bolton win! Then we beat the ****e and we are 7 points clear of them. This place will be like the Rio carnival then. I know I know, but one can hope!!

I wonder what we all did before the internet??

Firstly, I think Rafa got it wrong on Saturday. Kuyt is simply too slow up front on his own.

However, this is important, we have no god given right to turn up anywhere and simply win. Its literally impossible to go 38 matches and win every one, its a cast iron fact that us Mancs and Chelsea will drop more points between now and the end of the season, absolutly 100% cast iron fact.

My mate is a Stoke season ticket holder, he was there Saturday and also a few weeks ago against the Mancs, the only difference between the 2 performances and the only reason the Mancs won at Stoke and we didnt, according to him, is that Wilkinson was sent off Vs Mancs and that opened Stoke's very rigid system up.

Mancs took advantage of a very very poor Chelsea performance yesterday and some strange decisions by there manager.

There are many Drama queens on here who whilst moaning about our dropped points seem to forget the Mancs have also dropped points against poorer sides, they like us have no god given right to turn up and win whenevr they feel like it.

Calm down, there is a long way to go and there will be many more strange selections, poor results, poor referreeing decisions and we will have to endure many more end of the world threads on here.
