The United and Chelsea who both drew with them?

The team yesterday just didn't perform. It happens sometimes.

And it is happening to other teams even more.

Either way your point was contradicted by results.

No necessarily - United will win all these games and win their 18th title. I have no doubt in my mind. This was our best chance to win the league what with Ronaldo losing a heck load of form. We simply don't have enough match winners, manager plays too much politics and thinks he too clever for himself. Time after time again, he gets proven wrong yet he still tries and prove people wrong with the same mistakes. Benitez is too stubborn to learn from his mistakes, until he does, we won't win the title, you can quote me on that.

No you claim both United and Chelsea would hammer Newcastle. They both drew. And quite frankly your talking rubbish.
So exactly why was it terrible to play the same attack that scored 5 last time they played? (outside of the unpredictable not play anywhere near their best, hindsight is a wonderful thing)

Be careful, aren't you aware of the 11th commandment.. "thou shalt not criticise Dirk Kuyt on this website." Haven't you realised how "hard" he works? how much "running" he does? How "committed" he is? Like I know I don't mention the lesser appreciated attributes such as "skill", "ability", "pace" or "quality" but he IS such an "obviously" brilliant player

Chelsea for the win today. Fergie got the team selection all wrong again.

Demento hasn't got a choice. Scholes and Giggs are past it, Carrick is clearly struggling after injury and his saving-face player, Ronaldo, is now not interested. This blows their 'strength in depth' myth out of the water.

Shame is we may not win the league despite them being so weak this season.

1-nil to the Man U Scum. Hasn't got it so wrong then, unlike Raffa.

This is the hardest of their 3 in hand, they win this, we'll be lucky to finish 3rd, seriously, this could destroy our moral.

because unless we win 22 of our remaining 17 matches by at least 3 clear goals in each case and the utd lose all theirs, the title is utd's. FACT!

Your maths is wrong, we have to win each game by four clear goals.

What a bunch of overreacting drama queens there are here. One poor performance and you're all acting like you've lost your winning lottery ticket... and blaming everyone and their dog for it.

What happened? We had a poor game. The referee played a "homer", and several key players didnt perform - including SG, Lucas, Mascher, Carra, and Benayoun.

Rafa - for those of you blaming him and calling for his head, was absolutely livid with the players. It wouldnt surprise me if some aren't reporting for additional training today and tomorrow. I also think that the team which crossed the white line at 5.25pm yesterday should have had more than enough quality to beat Stoke. For whatever reasons, it didnt happen. Stoke got very fired up (assisted by some very odd referreeing decisions), and we didnt perform to the best of our ability. SO WHAT!! Sometimes we all have a bad day at the office - no matter what we're paid. Get over it and get behind the team for the next 17 matches.

Sorry to have to point this out to people, but it really is not the end of the world. After this weekend we will still be top of the league, and with only the Mancs to play away out of the top 4. We can effectively end the blue****es' season in a period of 6 days, and we have the worlds best striker coming back from injury, and hopefully into form.

Lets face it, all those claiming Manure are so special that they only scraped a win there, and that they have only scored 4 in 6. Rooney & Berbatov between them have played 28 league games and scored 7 goals. Whose scared of Manure? I aint.

For all those whinging and whining today. I truly hope you hang your heads in shame when you realise just how hysterical your reactions are.

In this football club there is a saying "You'll never walk alone". Some of the posters on here really need to have a good long think about just what exactly those words and the rest of that song actually mean.

This is Liverpool. Why are you so afraid???
Rafa Benitez gave us pride again. He gave us hopes and dreams. He made us feared across the Continent and took us closer to the Premier League Title than anyone since King Kenny. He became one of us and fought on our behalf. Rafa "got" LFC. For me he will forever be a legend. I'd have him back in a heartbeat. YNWA Rafa.
