    Yes, we will.

    Why?

Because it is within my rights as a Liverpool supporter, to be optimistic about the future of the club I love.

So your saying that before this weekend you honestly thought/believed we would win it.

Ferguscum will get cocky, rest top players and miss out on max points from these games, you mark my words.

He gives his team a winning mentality, a true motivator. Rafa has made this job easier for him and I think they'll hit a run now.

i'm sure we will still win the league but it is going to come down to the head to heads between us manure and chelsea. am i right in thinking it's arsenal vs manure last game of season? if so then major advantage to us i reckon.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Yes we were awful against Stoke and yet again we threw away points against teams we should be beating.

Yes, it was a great weekend for the Mancs with them thumping Chelsea and Rafa's attack on Whiskey Nose possibly already backfiring.

But we are still top of the league with seventeen games to go and still have our best chance of winning the title in a long, long time.

So, what does everyone think? Will we hold on and win the big prize or are all these dropped points going to come back and haunt us?

I'm feeling a bit pessimistic at the moment and think we have dropped so many points during so called 'easy' games that it will cost us in the end.
I voted yes with one caveat. Who Dares Wins. Rafa F.F.S, send the team to win every game. Enough of this cautious B.S. against lesser teams.

I would be ecstatic if proven wrong, but unless Rafa mends his ways we don't stand a snowflake's chance in hell.

Utd will be champions again and I think they’ll win the Champions League.

Utd remind me of us in the 80’s. They don’t have all the best players but they have the best ‘team’ because they have, by far, the best Premiership manager. I hate Fergie but if he was in charge of our squad we’d be Premiership Champions.*

As for Rafa, he’s an excellent coach and tactician and he’s made us a force in Europe but he has his weaknesses – for example, his teams are too negative (for the Premiership) and his man management is poor (I was also going to say his ability in the transfer market is questionable - ask him to buy an attacking player and he’ll buy you a table, four chairs, a sofa, a lamp and Fernando Torres – but I think it’s more to do with his defensive attitude to the game and his lack of interpersonal skills, rather than the players he buys). We will always be a top four side under Rafa and, this season, I expect us to push Chelsea all the way for second spot and hopefully be with in 6 points of Utd. But, after twenty years of ‘kneejerking’, I’m getting a little pissed off with playing second fiddle to those cunts at Old Trafford.

                      *I know – I’m a ******.
                      Another MASSIVE game

Liverpool over the past twenty years summed up in there - always the bridesmaid.

its very easy to be down after this weekend, i know i was gutted when they won yesterday as i had it down for a draw. but we all knew that sooner or later they would make a push, you don't win the premiership that many times by rolling over when things get tough. i still think that they fundamentally have problems with their team, ronaldo not interested anymore, rooney has to be sent off sooner or later and a weak midfield. we have to keep going and if they do go top, then keep on them as theirs too many turns left in the season to believe they'll run away with it.

heres a picture for you, winning the game at old toilet to go clear at the top, just ask the arsenal fans how that felt this has been the worst weekend for us so far in the league but it doesn't take away the fact that we're in this race to win, the manager believes it and the players too. Lets start the comeback against the bitters and make a statement of intent to the media and the rest of the league.

it aint over till its over.

Do you seriously see us winning away at Man Utd though?

Its not over yet. If Rafa can give Torres and Keane a chance to form a regular partnership then the title is there for the taking and we can make it happen

Quite possibly but again, i dont think it's likely that he will do that.
