    Real Madrid

Apologies if this have been mentioned before.

Real Madrid are the worst thing that's happened to us this season, IMO.

We were chugging along nicely and I think Rafa had his eye firmly planted on the league. Real Madrid are the only team in the champions league that Rafa has a point to prove against and I now believe it's attracting his attention away from the league. If we beat them, fingers crossed, and we're still in the hunt then I think we'll win the league.

I think his objectives will have been mapped by his employer. I doubt that he would risk missing these. Not even for a personal point against Madrid.

What possible evidence would you use to back up that point?
[Sorry - obviously that is aimed at the OP]

I think we'd all prefer the league to the champions league, that's my point. Rafa knows this and had been doing well to prioritise the league, but then we drew his home club and old employer....

It's not a conspiracy theory, just an observation

What have you been observing? Since the draw, we got a creditable point at the Emirates, scored 8 against Bolton and Newcastle in two of our best performances of the year, qualified to the next stage of the FA cup and unfortunately drew to Stoke.

So are you saying that the draw to Stoke is evidence that Rafa is thinking about Madrid 7 games later???
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Didnt we hammer Newcastle and Bolton after finding out about Real Madrid?

We'll see. I'll resurrect this around the time of the RM games, we'll take a look at team selections then

people can post what they like liverpool related if its something they think is rellavent, and they shouldnt have to worry about getting knob-end comments like that to stop them.
