However, since Rafa's rant. United have won all their games (5), we haven't won one of ours (3). It's frustrating.
    We haven't lost either.

Kuyt is an enigma. He's not a striker, his finishing is average at best. He's not right winger, he can barely beat a man and his crossing is average at best, oh and I can run quicker too. Part ex him please.

As for the game, we weren't great, but remember that that Everton side have no real strikers and so have had to spend most of the season doing what they did today and Monday. They defend incredibly well and doggedly and snatch the odd goal whenever they can. They've had a lot of prcatice and are good at it, so the result was not a bad one considering it was a derby. I'd put money on them frustrating Manu too.

10 days time. Think that makes it a week on Wednesday.

For once maybe credit where it is due, to Everton. We dominated the game and they defended superbly.

We were sloppy on their goal and that is an area we really need to sort out because Wigan will be thinking they can capitalise on our current weakness at set-pieces.

Torres is getting more game time and he will be back to his best by the time we play the Mancs and Madrid.

No need to be so downbeat JoeKing FFS.Its not all that bad, and IMHO we showed clear signs today that we are coming out of our poor patch in terms of the actual football we played.

Thanks Benitez. Your persistence with Dirk Kuyt costs us of attacking flair, guile and composure. The guy offers **** all.

First half: We were ****, no shots on target. Stupid corner conceded and stupid goal to concede.

Second half: Not much improvement. Great piece of skill and that was it. Kuyt missing a guilt edge chance.

We won't win any titles. United's tough patch with a bundle of injuries and they gain rubbish WINS. We can't get **** with more or less a full side available. Close the door behind you Benitez. That rant cost us of any sort of chance we had of gaining honours. United for the quadruple - possibly. I wouldn't count it out.

On the subject of stupid mistakes, it's 'Gilt -edged'.
                  Really?

We can't break down 10 men behind the ball. If I was a manager coming to Anfield I'd just defend deep! Beauty of an assist by Torres - can't defend against that

What happens to Evertons game with Mancs which was meant to be in 8 days?
