Holy ****ing ****. He's not perfect, and at times he does my head in, but to day that Rafa is deserving of the sack with our current league position is absurd to say the least.

New Contract for Rafa = one less fan going to bother caring anymore. I haven't bought merchandise for years, finances being like they are i can't afford to attend the games, haven't got sky and can't be arsed to make the trek to the pub to watch us today. Rafa is killing nearly 30 years of love i've built up over the years.

why are you blaming rafa for merchandise prices, ticket prices and the fact YOU can't be bothered to watch lfc games?

Rafa - No news on contract

Rafa Benitez has revealed that he has had talks with Liverpool owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, but not over his contract.

Both Hicks and Gillett were at Anfield on Sunday to see the Reds overcome Chelsea and reaffirm their title challenge.

The joint owners, whose off-field differences is public knowledge, sat at different ends of the directors' box and have now returned to their native America.

The Liverpool tactician revealed that the three of them held discussions twice over the weekend, although the Spaniard offered no update on his impending contract.
                Positive

"I have had a conversation with both owners. Before the game (against Chelsea) those talks were positive, after the game they were even more positive," Benitez said.

"I was happy with those conversations, but I know no more about my contract."

Liverpool lock horns with local rivals Everton in the FA Cup on Wednesday and the Reds boss feels his side have been boosted by their latest victory.

A fifth-round tie against Aston Villa or Doncaster awaits the winners of the fourth round replay, where the Merseyside pair will square off at Goodison Park in what will be the third clash between the two clubs in 16 days.

Benitez accepts that Liverpool's form had been patchy during the past few weeks, despite the fact that they have gone 16 matches unbeaten in all competitions.

But the Spaniard feels that Sunday's victory over Chelsea has been a major boost to team morale.

                Confident

He said: "Everything was positive against Chelsea, so going into the derby we are very confident.

"In the first game, the league match, we did not play well. In the second game we were much better, so hopefully this replay will see us play like we did in the first cup tie.

"The players needed to show their character, and now we know we can beat anyone. It will be difficult at Goodison Park, but we can do it. The win over Chelsea has given everyone a lift.

"Now we have a really big cup tie at Everton, one I believe we can win and one that will give the fans something to be excited about after our win over Chelsea.

"Our win over Chelsea gave everyone a lift, especially as it was against a side at the top of the table with us."

because Rafa gets final say on what ****e is produced and sold at the club.

he also has a large input in the setting of ticket prices and fuel prices.

And lastly his overall negativety has been passed on to me much like clap from a cheap whore and now when I watch a game it mainly leaves me bored to tears. To be fair it isn't just Rafa, its football in general these days.

I don't think anybody's saying sack him now but he certainly shouldn't be getting or discussing a new contract until the season ends........I'm sure if he doesn't we'll all know the reason as he's a media whore ! Oh how I dream of Liverpool becoming the great club we once where, on the field with fluid footbal and also off it by not airing our dirty linen in public.

                              **** sake

He's the best manager we have had and has put together the best squad we have had since Dalglish left.

It's February and we are in with a realistic shout of winning the title plus being live contenders for the European Cup. First time in years we've been in that position.

The man has major Eurpoean league title winning pedigre and to boot there are NO OTHER REALISTIC CANDIDATES (please don't give me this Mourinho or Hiddink pish, given the state of our internal affairs, do you really think they'd leave their cushy positions to come?).

Still some people want him sacked? Don't get it at all. Everyone has the right to an opinion and I genuinely enjoy reading the thoughts of others', especially when they are well written and provide a contradictory challenge to my own, but for **** sake I just don't get this Rafa bashing. Given our current state of affairs, I just can't engage or relate to it I'm afraid.

PERHAPS if there was an outstanding candidate waiting in the wings we should be having an 'X could be doing a better job than Rafa' type debate, but there is no such candidate out there that I am aware of. And the reason for this? IMHO its because Rafa is one of the best 5 managers in the world. Simple.

Don't get me wrong, he makes his share of mistakes. Every manager does. But the overall Rafa package is superb and is, I think, the best for us at this time.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

He's probably more annoyed at how this will affect our NET spend
