Thing is, though he not always be giving our players an advantage, they at least get the same chance as the other team to make contact. Lack of ability in the air I say from our players.

I never see any movement or imagination like what Cahill has, or a real will to win the ball like Vidic or Laursen. I don't expect us to score, but I do expect us to be winning our fair share in the box and making the keeper move.

He isn't Jesus now, is he? He couldn't feed thousands of people with one fish now, could he? Had you said Benitez was Ares, that would be different.

Looking at certain patterns of play and passing and in particular corner's Did anyone notice that on a few occasions we only had 4 players in the box when We had a corner,Does Zonal also include attacking corners because we dont seem very effective at our own set pieces esp without sammi. Is it an area we should be improving on?

                        Zonal only applies to defending.

In attacking set pieces, it would be pointless being rooted to the spot whilst markers get a jump on. We are poor because of the lack of aerial threat, as you said without Hyypia and the poor delivery. I would like to see Alonso take them and Aurelio too.

I know that but what im trying to say is do we have the same tactics for every corner? who stands where? how many go up? dont you think we should at least pile a few more in the box during corner's.....................the mancs seem to snatch winners this way and it makes you think that apart from sammi we havent got a good record of big defenders scoring have we? Agger has but not many with the head and Skrtyl is good in the air carra is no mug but it makes the point that we have certain tactics for offensive corners aswell as deffensive corner's and maybe we dont put more pressure on the away team esp at the kop end

The only tactic is the trajectory and which post the ball is landing. That part is done with hand signals and quiet whispers.
