Agreed, he looks liek a very good(potentially) raiding fullback but his crossing is awful. He should be made practice on the training ground for hours on end. He does look like he has got a bit of that attacking flair from fullback though that we've been missing for ages.

Not sure what else we could expect from £7m Riera. He's skillful and earlier in the season was being lauded as a shrewd move and a fantastic player. He's gone off the boil a little admittedly, but he's a true winger and has the skill and flair we've been crying out for for ages

Dossena has put in some of the crosses we've seen this season. Can agree that his control/first touch could do with some improvement, but he's definitely the attacking fullback we've been crying out for
For me he needs to work on his defensive duties more than his attacking abilities although tonight I though he had a very good game

It's just you ... stick to the fantasy free rolls .. Anybody with half a football brain can see what a quality signing he has been, off the pace for the past 2 matchs but before that had started more games than any other player and a model of consistency ... **** me I have my hands tied

He's been pretty woeful for the last 2/3 months. Can you name 1 team he has played well against in that time? Wingers are about end product - it's not just about hugging the flank and drawing out defenders with you, you have to actually produce some end product i.e. Assists or Goals. I think he's had 1 assist and his crossing is utter ****e. He either drills them in low or wips them high and at pace past the far post. He only ever seems to dribble past his man at the half way line. He never seems to get past the opposition fullbacks, One thing I will say is that he provides great cover to the Full back but despite Babel's deficiancies, I would play him over Riera anyday. Last year, Babel hit double figures with goals and we actually created more opportunities on goal when he was on the pitch

Most of them Babel goals came from when he started as a sub though.

The effort with Riera wasn't there tonight either. Dossena got past Hibbert more than Riera had a go at him. The way he casually walked off the pitch like he had put in 110% pissed me off to.

Bollix he has had 3 off par games .. the lad was prossibly is knackered .. he has had more time on the pitch than any other player up until recently .. he is a qaulity and if you can see that then your opinion is not one which I will give any credence what so ever
