Deserved exactly what we got tonight. Absolutely awful, no shocking, football from us.
Trying to resist, I really am.. urghhhhhh!!!!!!!! **** it. If I ever see Lucas and Dossena in a Liverpool shirt again I think I will tear my hair out."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Bitters Post Match
We will be extremely knackered for the game against Portsmouth. I wouldn't be surprised if Torres and Gerrard don't play. Very few people can come away with some credit: Arbeloa - should have done better but resisted all the pressure from the Everton's left wing. Kuyt - hassled and haggled all day and the back two of Carragher and Skrtel besides the banana skin at the end.
Benitez will say sod it, time to look at the Premiership and the Champions League. It would have been nice to win the FA Cup for those Hillsborough victims but to win either the Champions League or Premiership will do.

I can't blame the players, it was a really tough and physical game, we lost Gerrard at the start but were the better side until the sending off. Lucas is truly an awful awful player and I feel embarrassed that I rated him once. Cost us the competition, it was always going to be very difficult from that point. Players were really tired, especially Alonso who could barely move towards the end.

Dossena was not that bad. His crossing was poor. But he was the only one providing that type of threat. Defensively he did noting wrong.Originally posted by Tee View PostDeserved exactly what we got tonight. Absolutely awful, no shocking, football from us.

Mods..why did the match thread get locked so soon after the whistle? http://www.est1892.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=58290
Fair enough the match was over but I notice the Chelsea one isn't.
