Absolutely over the ****ing moon!
Fantastic performance from absolutely everyone, such a resilient performance away from home. Carra and Skrtel stopped almost everything, Arbeloa and Aurellio played their socks off and kept Robben in their pockets, Alonso and Mascherano had total control even over a 3 man midfield in the second half. Benayoun and Kuyt also made a good impact and thank **** Yossi was there to get on the end of that brilliant delivery from Aurellio! Absolutely buzzing right now, huge win!

Good idea. I'll ask MrM.Originally posted by Joe King View PostThanks again. Just put a big disclaimer before all my posts, why don't you?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Rafa refused to clear the air when asked 3 times in the post match interview. I really think he's off.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

What? So "are you happy here", "do you want to stay" are now difficult questions to answer are they?Originally posted by tsb View PostMaybe he's finally realised not to discuss his contract in public?Last edited by FatTony; 25-02-09, 11:07 PM.

opposite impression on RTE, its just what the pundits make of it and most of them are anti-Liverpool.
Rafa cannot come out and say "Yes im staying for sure" like anybody else he is negotiating a contract, Why would he.
He will be going nowhere me thinks.

He said he didnt know about the rumours. The interviewer said that Rick Parry has rubbished rumours of his exit. IHe asked if he was going to walk away. Rafa said he was focussed on winning matches for Liverpool. He then asked how close he was to signing the contract. Rafa said he was looking at winning games and contact with owners is ongoing. Interviewer was just poking around really. On the day we beat Real, this will be the headline...Originally posted by janpelt View PostWhat did he say then and what was he asked ?

He could've said he was happy to be here though, but when given the opportunity he simply referred to winning games. He skirted around providing positive answers.Originally posted by kingfunk View Postopposite impression on RTE, its just what the pundits make of it and most of them are anti-Liverpool.

Let me make this clear, until I saw this interview I was 100% clear that Rafa was going nowhere, that this was all a load of ****, but they way he refused to answer straighforward questions as to whether he was happy here and wanted to stay did not inspire confidence. I' now 80% sure he's off at the end of the season. 80% sure he'll be at RM.
