as for the game goes to show if there ever was a european league we'd batter them.

We just need a couple a flair players to unlock the defence minded teams that play us.

A rooney or Joe Cole would be great.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

I wouldn't read to much into his post match comments - thats half the problem in football and certainly with our club - we just beat real madrid at the bernabeu and all people what to talk about his what the true meaning behind rafa's comments are.

Rafa is prob sick to death of being asked the question - what do we know?

We know rafa is trying to sort a new contract, we know the owners are arseholes, we know there is issues, so lets just leave them to sort it out.

You only had to look at carra's reaction when he was asked the question, he was pissing himself laughing and said something along the lines of well that's just typical liverpool, there is a different rumour everyday and they are all ****e.

Oh and another thing, whilst i know it would be nice to have the reassurances from to say he is defo staying, but i seem to remember a certain player saying how could he ever leave when asked the question straight after a big game, and although he didn't look how ****ing close that was to happening.

Lets stop trying to read so much into every little word spoke, trying to over analyse it all the time, cause thats what starts the panic situation

People need to stop listening to sky and listen to Rafa's own words. When asked he clearly laughed and said he isn't leaving.

Ofcourse he can't say he is signing a contract because he can't do that till an agreement is reached on transfer policy. He made it fairly clear that he doesn't understand the rumours and that he won't be leaving mid-season. That much is clear

Well, he got half of the scoreline right at least

It was really great to hear Joe Cole being so complimentary about the power of Anfield - he said it was a cauldron, very intimidating, 12th man etc...

Vicente Boluda, the Real Madrid president, had predicted 5-1 aggregate victory for his club over Liverpool in the Champions League.

'We will win 3-0 in the Bernabeu which will be a great party,' he said. 'Then we will win 2-1 in Liverpool.'

Why are people on here continually talking about what Rafa DIDNT say in his Sky interview, when we should be talking about what he DID say in his RTE interview?
"With Ron Yeats in defence, we could play Arthur Askey in goal."

It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
