Never though i would see the day a football player does not have the mentality to Win in a red shirt but like i said in another thread win lose or draw they still get their £90k a week plus bonus and go back to their big homes to bang their model girlfriend knowing there's plenty of more where that came from.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Absolutely. We just seem to lack the ability to create and convert the chances needed to win games. We seriously lack guile and edge at times and seem to spend more time going backwards than forwards.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostBiggest thing that's "****ed us up" since December? Not being good enough on the pitch.
Part of the problem is how do you put it all together in a comprehensive package that provides the creative spark we currently lack with a defensive solidity that would sufficiently satisfy the manager. I'm not looking for reckless attacking behaviour, just attacking intent and I don't think our current formation (and use of players) allows us to do that. While Kuyt has been a relative success on the right this season playing him there inevitably sacrifices a degree of guile in an area where we have been crying out for a creative solution for years. We play Babel on the left yet he can't cross a ball with his left foot and defenders are now waiting for him to cut inside.
But more than that we seem to want to over complicate things. Our movement today was hopeless, our set piece delivery has been shocking most of the season and when is someone at the club going to work out that it's not (IMO) a productive tactic to bring the entire team back to defend corners. It's too many average elements at play at a time where we need excellence. To put it simply I think we have just become to predictable.
And Rafa must think Darby is total ****e to play Skrtel ahead of him. An appaling decision (regardless of the fact that Darby and El Zhar on the right would have given us an inexperienced flank). Martin had a shocker today.
Hopefully today will serve as a kick up the arse. We aren't going to win the league now so we may as well at least finish the season on a high and hand out a few thrashings.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

He's not the worst manager in the league to be fair on David Moyes. He does get Everton playing with some passion and they've done ok for a number of years albeit on a not too great budget.
I doubt very much LFC fans would want him here for obvious reasons and there's no way he would come to us from Everton but if Rafa ever did leave I'd either want him, MON or Wenger to manage us.
I just wish that we had a bit more luck in the league and things would fall into place. Kind of feel sorry for Rafa. His tactics do leave questions to be answered but I also feel the players are letting him down.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. Spot ****ing onOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostIf the players have that mentality then they've got attitude problems IMO. Surely they should be doing it for themselves aswell as the manager and the fans. Whether or not the manager will be here at the end of the season should have no effect, you either want to win trophies or you don't, if you don't then you shouldn't be playingSack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

We are not good enough to win the league. We have some great players form whom I derive immense pleasure watching. However we are not good enough as a team to win the league.
That doesn't mean woe is us. We still support our lads and hope that glory is jst around the corner. ;-)"Sir, it's me sir. Jennings sir."

You're the first person on this thread to mention the players, our real problem is being too cautious.
We don't attack teams like we did in the seventies or eighties or even the nineties. For christ sake even babel and kuyt defend.
I really think we'd be better off with somebody with less tactical nouse and more blood and thunder like MON maybe he'd bring Barry,Young and Ablonghor with him. These three players would be amazing for our strength in depth problems.

A serious lack in attacking flair and creativity. We dont attack or play with any intensity. Far too many draws yet again, think it was 13 last season and 10 so far this season?
A lot of players need to be shipped out and the kids on the fringes really need to be given chances. Babel, Lucas, Dossena, Kuyt, Ngog all need to go in my opinion. As much as i love Dirk we need better on the right wing.
Rafa's choppping and changing have been our biggest downfall. You can only change if the players coming in are as good as the ones being dropped.
