Perhaps he will sell him at the end of the season because he certainly isn’t good enough as a winger either!

Reserve players will ALWAYS be inferior, otherwise they'd be first teamers.
Of course they will be but when he does try and blood youngsters he seems to choose the wrong ones. Reserve regulars that do consistantly well like Spearing, Nemeth, Darby, Plessis, Pacheco don't get a look in while Ngog and Lucas get chance after chance and just aren't up to it.

Whilst i agree with that, it's unlikely that Spearing, Nemeth and Darby etc would be adequate replacements for the likes of Gerrard, Torres, Carragher etc.

His rant exposed him ! The draw for the c.league game against real Madrid ! He started ****ing around with the team! He's obsessed with beating them before he joins them!

The biggest thing that has ****ed the players up is all the **** about Rafa's contract why the **** would you want to get motivated and sweat blood and guts for a guy who looks like he does not give a **** and was getting VERY friendly with the madrid staff the other night if anyone else clocked onto that!

I think the rant, the contract situation and the champions league draw all have little to do with it, if you get the tactics right and the team playing well none of the other things should matter.

That's where the problem lies for me too many times we've got tactics or the overall mentality of the team wrong, we are too focused on not losing rather than winning and lack a couple of (wide) players who can win matches. Also for whatever reason certain players have consistently been playing below their best this season (I'm particularly thinking of Babel and Mascherano, but they aren't the only ones)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Biggest thing that's "****ed us up" since December? Not being good enough on the pitch.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                          Mine angry and defrauded young?

If the players have that mentality then they've got attitude problems IMO. Surely they should be doing it for themselves aswell as the manager and the fans. Whether or not the manager will be here at the end of the season should have no effect, you either want to win trophies or you don't, if you don't then you shouldn't be playing

                                Agreed mate

Never though i would see the day a football player does not have the mentality to Win in a red shirt but like i said in another thread win lose or draw they still get their £90k a week plus bonus and go back to their big homes to bang their model girlfriend knowing there's plenty of more where that came from.
